Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta is relying on the raucous support of fans at the Emirates Stadium in order to overcome a tricky Bournemouth side in their English Premiership encounter here on Saturday.
The Gunners have a nine-point lead at the top of the table, but Arteta knows they cannot afford similar stumbles to the ones that cost them in the EFL Cup final (0-2 loss to Man City) and the FA Cup quarter-finals (1-2 loss to Southampton), particularly not at home.
“We need to exploit the [home] advantage. We know the meaning of every match here and the opportunity that we have, especially when we play at home. We need to maximise every result,” said Arteta.
Meanwhile, Andoni Iraola’s side will be heading into the clash high on confidence. After all, his Bournemouth did well to get the better of Arteta’s Gunners 2-1 when they faced each other at the Emirates last season.
