Wheel of Fortune: Akshay Kumar says even 120 days with family feels less

A meaningful and inspiring moment unfolded on the latest episode of Wheel of Fortune, as a thoughtful question prompted Akshay Kumar to open up about the importance of family in his life.

During an insightful interaction, contestant Namita asked Bollywood’s biggest superstar Akshay Kumar, “Sab kuch life mein itna kuch achieve kar liya hai, jo ki bahut achha hai. Aap highest tax payer bhi rahe ho. Abhi aisi kaunsi cheezein hain life mein jo aapki khwahish hai?”

Akshay Kumar shares his biggest wish

Responding with his signature humility and wit, Akshay Kumar first said with a smile, “Meri khwahish hai ki yeh aakhri question ho,” drawing laughter across the set. However, he soon followed it up with a thought that struck a deep emotional chord, “Aur saath mein ek aur khwahish ho, I wish I can spend more time with my family.”

Opening his heart further, the actor shared a rare glimpse into his personal life, saying, “Aisa toh main aapko bata doon, main 120 days nikalta hoon apne parivaar ke liye, 365 din ke andar se, lekin woh bhi kam lagte hain.”

This beautifully conveyed a powerful message that no matter how big the celebrity or how vast the achievements, spending quality time with loved ones is priceless. Through his heartfelt words, Akshay Kumar once again proved that real success lies not in what we achieve, but in who we make time for.

Engaging in a playful exchange with Phalguni’s mother in the audience, Akshay blended humour with an important reminder about road safety, making the moment both entertaining and meaningful.

The moment began when Akshay asked her whether she had a driving licence. After she replied that she did, Akshay asked her, “Do you know I am a road safety brand ambassador?” and jokingly suggested that he should check her licence. She responded in good humour, saying that to do so, he would have to visit her hometown, Salanpur, hinting that she has not carried her licence.

Akshay Kumar asks ahead, “If you have to drive a vehicle, then what will you do?” Explaining further, she shared that she had travelled by flight and would return the same way, adding that she carries her licence only when she needs to ride a scooter. Continuing the banter, Akshay asked if the licence was too ‘heavy’ to carry, using humour to subtly highlight the importance of keeping one on hand. Her candid reply that she chose to carry makeup items instead of her license drew laughter from the audience.

The exchange added warmth and humour to the episode, while keeping road safety at the centre of the conversation. Delivered in a playful tone, the moment served as a relatable reminder about driving responsibility, making it a standout interaction on the Wheel of Fortune stage.
