Western Railway (WR) beat Union Bank 2-1 in a keenly contested Women’s Seniors match of the St Peter’s hockey tournament in Bandra on Thursday.
Anupa Barla netted both goals for the railway side while Sarita pulled one back for Union Bank.
In a men’s open tie, Savio Hockey blanked India Rush 5-0. Karan Singh netted a brace while Pranay Bhosle, Bhavik Chandane and Mario Fernandes scored a goal each.
