Following their centuries in the opening Test against England at Leeds, both Rishabh Pant and Shubman Gill have made significant strides in the latest update of the ICC Rankings for batters in Test cricket.
Pant, starred as the best batter across both innings for India, scoring twin centuries against the Ben Stokes-led side. In the process he became the first Indian wicketkeeper to have reached this feat. In addition, he is also the second after Zimbabwe’s Andy Flower to have reached the milestone.
