Bihar cinema superstar Pawan Singh has exited the reality show Rise and Fall. This comes amidst when the show was gaining popularity courtesy the actor-politician and his banters with social media influencer and chat show host Nayandeep Rakshit. To note, this is the show’s second abrupt exit after Sangeeta Phogat left due to her father-in-law’s demise.
Why did Pawan Singh exit Rise and Fall?
A source in the production told IANS that the actor’s family came to receive him on the sets. While leaving the show, he told the contestants that he was never a contestant but just came for sometime. This marks the 2nd exit from the show after wrestler Sangeeta Phogat, the daughter of Mahavir Singh Phogat, the renowned wrestling coach who inspired the film Dangal.
When Pawan Singh made headlines
Recently, the Bhojpuri cinema actor faced ire of netizens after he made a nasty comment towards Nayandeep Rakshit. A controversial video clip from the reality show has gone viral online, in which Pawan can be seen suggesting that Nayandeep imagine himself without stubble, wearing a saree, bindi, and Kajal. The interaction, which took place as they rested on a bed, showed Pawan touching Nayandeep’s face while commenting.
Apart from this, he also opened up about affair rumours with Akshara Singh. He said, “After a few years, there was some more trouble in life. Actually, in the line we are in, if you work with someone continuously, you get close to them. It is said that if there is an animal in the house, you get attached to it. But my family did not like this. Then my family got me married somewhere else, but that too did not go well. Now the divorce case is going on…”
Let us tell you that Akshara Singh and Pawan Singh have worked together in several films. During this time, both of them came close to each other. Their relationship lasted for many years. Then, they broke up and Pawan Singh married Jyoti Singh in 2018. The Bhojpuri star found himself in controversy after a video of him touching actress Anjali Raghav`s waist during a stage event went viral. The clip circulated widely on social media, with many bashing Pawan Singh over his behaviour.
