Awez Darbar`s removal from Bigg Boss 19 surprised both his fans and co-contestants. He was ousted from the most recent episode of Weekend Ka Vaar after being nominated alongside Ashnoor Kaur, Pranit More, Gaurav Khanna, Mridul Tiwari, and Neelam Giri. His removal happened barely one day after his sister-in-law and actress, Gauahar Khan, entered the Bigg Boss house to give him a reality check.
However, shocking reports have emerged that Awez`s eviction was arranged and that his family paid a voluntary leave fee when suspicions circulated that his ex-girlfriend, Shubhi Joshi, would enter the reality show as a wildcard contestant.
The Darbar family apparently made the choice to avoid trouble in their personal life, which has recently garnered attention after Amaal Mallik and Baseer Ali disclosed that he had texted many girlfriends in the past. Shubhi acknowledged in an interview that she and Awez had a previous connection, fueling speculation that he had cheated on Nagma Mirajkar, with whom he had a 10-year relationship.
According to reports, after Gauahar`s portion on Bigg Boss 19, she spoke with the producers about Shubhi`s purported wildcard appearance. Since she had not received any confirmation, Awez`s family opted to pay the voluntary leave fee and withdraw him from the reality show, culminating in a dramatic exit.
Instead of announcing Neelam Giri`s eviction, the producers requested the host, Salman Khan, to declare her safe.

Awez penned a heartfelt note reacting to his eviction on the Instagram handle, “BiggBoss19 ki journey itne jaldi khatam hogi yeh maine socha nahi tha.. Palak jhhappakte hi itne dost paaye. Mano woh ghar mera apna hogaya tha Har Weekend par Salman Khan sir se milna, ek saath rehna, baatein karna, masti mazak karna…yeh sab cheezein bohot yaad ayengi. Abhishek Bajaj got emotional on Awez`s exit
During a candid exchange with Ashnoor, Abhishek opened up about his friend Awez’s elimination from Bigg Boss 19. Sharing his perspective, Abhishek noted that Awez got caught in the number game, focusing too much on calculations and strategy. In doing so, he overlooked what Abhishek believes to be the true essence of the show—revealing one’s personality and putting forward individual opinions.
“Awez got stuck in the number game, but he forgot this show is about showing your personality and putting forward your opinions. You cannot always discuss everything — you also have to react,” Abhishek remarked, underlining the importance of authenticity over calculations in the house.”
