Now, Martin is once again in the news for his reported romance with Game of Thrones star Sophie Turner. According to a report by The Daily Mail, Sophie and Chris went on a secret date. Sophie recently called it quits with her aristocrat boyfriend Peregrine ‘Perry’ Pearson, while Chris broke up with Dakota Johnson after an eight-year relationship.

Chris Martin and Dakota Johnson ended their eight-year on-and-off relationship in June this year. The couple, who were once engaged, reportedly called off their engagement due to disagreements over their future — including wedding plans and differing views on having children. Turner, on the other hand, went through a public divorce from singer Joe Jonas, with whom she shares two children. After her divorce, she began dating Perry Pearson. However, the couple was seen arguing at a high-society wedding in September, which ultimately ended their relationship.
Chris has been in London for a while now for Coldplay`s Music of Spheres tour which has allowed him time to go on a date with Turner who lives in the city after her divorce.

Meanwhile, reports suggest that Turner didn’t take long to move on from Pearson and began dating Martin. She has always been a fan of the Coldplay frontman. In a past episode of the Cup of Joe podcast, Turner received a birthday video message from Martin, which led to an emotional reaction.
Turner was seen reacting to the message by exclaiming, “It’s Chris Martin!” Martin’s video greeting said, “This is Chris from Coldplay. On behalf of me and the even more handsome members of our band, have the best day. I’m sending you all my love and hope you’re having the best time.” He concluded with, “Thanks for being awesome, bye,” and blew a kiss to the camera.
Visibly moved by the gesture, Turner said, “I’m not going to cry on camera,” as she shared the moment with Joe Jonas, who had arranged the message. The pair then high-fived each other.
