Delhi Police Commissioner Satish Golcha said a “slow moving vehicle stopped at a red light” near the Red Fort at around 6.52 pm. Golcha said, “There was an explosion in that vehicle and due to the explosion nearby vehicles were also damaged. All the agencies, FSL, NIA, are here…”

The Commissioner further said that the situation is being continuously monitored, Union Home Minister Shah has also contacted the police and information is being shared with them regularly.
