Located only 30 kilometers from Jamia Millia Islamia, Delhi, Al Falah University is managed by the Al Falah Charitable Trust, registered at Jamia Nagar, Okhla, New Delhi.

Al Falah Medical College, now at the center of the investigation, functions under the Dhauj campus of Al Falah University in Faridabad. Spread over 70 acres, this university was started in 1997 as an engineering college. In 2013, Al-Falah Engineering College received ‘A’ category accreditation from the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) of the University Grants Commission. In 2014, the Government of Haryana granted it university status.
The medical college added an MBBS course in 2019, followed by a postgraduate course in 2023.
Al Falah also has a small hospital with 650 beds, where doctors treat patients free of charge. according to Indian ExpressThe campus holds five batches of MBBS courses daily, each with 150 to 200 students. The current Vice-Chancellor, Dr. Bhupinder Kaur Anand, also serves as the Principal of the Medical College. The current Registrar of Al-Falah University is Professor (Dr) Mohammad Parvez.
The Man at the Hell
The Chancellor of Al Falah University is Jawad Ahmed Siddiqui. His LinkedIn profile lists him as the Managing Trustee of Al-Falah Charitable Trust since 1995, Chancellor of Al-Falah University, Faridabad since 2014, and Managing Director of Al-Falah Investments Limited since 1996.
He is also a director in several other companies registered in the mid-1990s, including Al-Falah Education Service LLP, Al-Falah Software Pvt Ltd, Al-Falah Consultancy Services Pvt Ltd, Al-Falah Exports Ltd, Tarbiya Education Foundation and Al-Falah Energies Ltd.

Students of Al Falah Medical College told Indian Express The accused doctors had little interaction with him, but his arrest has raised concerns about the reputation of the college.
“He was a JR doctor in the emergency wing, so never came to teach us. We came to know about him only after hearing the news of his arrest,” said a third-year MBBS student, referring to Dr Muzammil Ganai, who was arrested by Jammu and Kashmir Police for his involvement in an international terror module.
Another student said that the suspected suicide bomber, Dr. Omar Un Nabi, had taught a class about ten days before the blast. “As a teacher, he was fine but mostly kept to himself,” said the 22-year-old. The first woman doctor arrested, Dr Shaheen Shahid, was described as “professional and regular in lectures”.
Students said police have since conducted several searches at the 500-room hostel, where both students and teachers live. “They checked all the rooms, including Dr. Omar’s,” a student told the newspaper.
Many students now fear that the investigation could affect their job prospects. “There are no renowned doctors in this hospital. And after these arrests, who will hire us?” A student said, he paid around Rs 1 crore for the five-year MBBS programme, besides paying Rs 3 lakh annually for hostel rent.
The university responded to the allegations
As the scope of investigation increased, the university administration issued an official statement On Wednesday it rejected allegations of any institutional collusion and clarified its position on the arrests.
In a public statement issued by Vice-Chancellor Prof (Dr) Bhupinder Kaur Anand, the university said it was “deeply saddened and distressed by the unfortunate events” and expressed its condolences to “all the innocent people affected by these tragic events”.
The university confirmed that two of its doctors have been detained by investigating agencies, but added that they “have no connection with the said persons other than working in their official capacities.”
Expressing concern over “baseless and misleading stories” circulating online, the university said such reports appear to be made with “a clear intention to malign the reputation and goodwill of the university”. It “strongly condemned and categorically denied all such false and defamatory allegations.”
The statement further clarified that “no such chemical or material, as is being alleged by some platforms, is being used, stored or handled within the university campus.” It added that all laboratories were used “solely and exclusively for the educational and training needs of MBBS students and other authorized courses.”
“All laboratory activities are carried out in strict adherence to the established safety protocols, statutory norms and ethical standards mandated by the regulatory authorities,” the university said.
The university urged “all organizations and individuals to act responsibly and verify facts through official channels before making or sharing any statements regarding the university.”
Al Falah University reaffirmed “its unwavering commitment to the unity, peace and security of our country”, saying it was fully cooperating with the investigating authorities to “enable them to reach a logical, fair and decisive decision in a matter related to national security.”
The statement appealed for normalcy on campus, concluding: “Our students are sincerely engaged in pursuing their education, and it is imperative that every possible effort be made to ensure that their education continues in an atmosphere of peace, normalcy, and academic discipline.”
Delhi blast
