Veteran actor Dharmendra died on November 24, a few days before his 90th birthday. Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol, along with their families, intend to commemorate the occasion at his property in Khandala. They will also open the gates to the residence so that admirers may come and commemorate their father`s legacy. The family held a private funeral for the seasoned entertainer.
Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol, along with the rest of the family, have decided to use Dharmendra`s 90th birth anniversary to pay homage to his legacy. The family will go to his farmhouse near Khandala. In reality, the family has opted to open the farmhouse gates to the public.

“Sunny and Bobby have decided to visit their father’s farmhouse to honour his memory and legacy. While discussing their plans, they realised that many fans wished they had the chance to meet or see Dharmendra one last time. That’s why they’ve decided to open the farmhouse gates for fans who want to come, pay their respects, and meet the family. The family will also meet the fans at the farmhouse,” a source revealed to HT.
According to the insider, preparations are already beginning, with specifics and plans being finalised.
“They haven`t organized a big fan gathering or anything, but they have made it possible for folks to come in and honor their father`s memory. They may consider arranging transportation because the journey to the farmhouse is not easily accessible for everyone. However, this will be determined by the number of persons who plan to come, which has yet to be confirmed,” said the source.
Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol, along with Sunny`s son Karan Deol, dipped Dharmendra`s ashes in the hallowed Ganges River on Wednesday morning at Har Ki Pauri in Haridwar.
Dharmendra dies at 89
Dharmendra died on November 24th, aged 89 years. The actor had been ailing for quite some time before being admitted to the hospital on November 10. Later, he was released from Mumbai`s Breach Candy Hospital and was recovering at home. He was cremated in Mumbai on November 25 in the presence of his family and film industry associates.
On November 27, a prayer meeting in memory of the late actor was conducted in Mumbai. The Deol family hosted the prayer meeting, known as Celebration of Life. Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Rekha, and Aishwarya Rai were among those who attended the prayer meeting.
On the same day, his second wife, Hema Malini, held a separate prayer meeting for her late husband, actor Dharmendra, at her Mumbai residence.
