Bigg Boss 19: Gaurav Khanna makes a heartfelt revelation about his love story

In an emotional moment on Bigg Boss 19, actor Gaurav Khanna opened up about a painful chapter of his journey, one that nearly broke him. Gaurav shared that he first came to Mumbai in 2003, full of dreams and determination. By 2005/2006, he made his debut on television and began steadily carving a space for himself in the industry.

Gaurav Khanna makes an emotional revelation

Gaurav revealed that a close friend he trusted had cheated him in a costly property investment. The betrayal was so severe that it brought his life to a complete standstill, emotionally, professionally and financially.

But even in that dark phase, he held on to one belief: “Haar toh nahi maanunga… ek cheez thi, talent, jazba, janta ka pyaar aur intezaar jo humesha saath tha aur hai.” He said these were the four pillars that kept him going when he felt like giving up.

Amid the chaos, the person who became his biggest strength was his wife, Akanksha. Gaurav grew emotional as he recalled her stepping in. She told him, “I`ll handle everything, you go and win.”

He shared that her sacrifice, belief, and courage gave him the motivation he desperately needed. “Akanksha has sacrificed a lot.” He said, acknowledging her unconditional support during the most difficult period of his life,  “Akanksha has always been a pillar of strength and support”

Gaurav’s revelation moved the housemates and viewers alike, offering a rare, heartfelt look into the struggles behind the success many see today. His revelation stood as a reminder that betrayal can break you, but the right support can rebuild you even stronger.

On not having kids

Earlier, in the press conference, Gaurav Khanna got candid about why his wife, Akanksha Chamola didn`t want kids. He said, “Sabse pehle toh main ye bolna chahta hu ki, of course, I love kids, aur maine jab shaadi ki thi toh main bilkul dil se chahta tha ki mere bachche ho. Toh aaj ke zamaane mein bade kam aise mard hain jo apni biwi se itna pyaar karte hain ki wo apni dil ki choice ko maar sakein.” (First of all, I want to say that of course I love kids, and when I got married, I genuinely wanted to have children. But in today’s world, very few men love their wives so much that they’re willing to suppress their own wishes for her.)
