Despite bolstering their squad from the previous season, the team struggled to perform collectively with both bat and ball throughout most of the tournament. A few combinations began to click towards the end, but it was too little, too late to revive their campaign.SRH entered the auction with a remaining purse of Rs 25.50 crore, along with 10 player slots including two overseas slots still unfilled.
