Home Alone fame Daniel Stern charged in prostitution-related case in California

Actor Daniel Stern, popularly known for his role as Marv in Home Alone, is facing criminal charges. He has been charged with one misdemeanour count of soliciting prostitution in California.

Daniel Stern ticketed for misdemeanour

Ventura County District Attorney spokesperson Joey Buttitta told PEOPLE, “From what I understand, he was cited at the location and released.” Previously, the spokesperson told the magazine, “The Ventura County Sheriff’s Office submitted their ticket or citation to us, and it is being reviewed by our prosecutors.”

Reportedly, Stern was ticketed in a prostitution case in California in early December. However, he was not arrested or booked in the matter. He was reportedly at a hotel in Camarillo when he was cited by the police.
