About Kaabil
Released in 2017, Kaabil was highly praised for Hrithik’s nuanced portrayal. He portrayed Rohan’s innocence, heartbreak, and determination with remarkable restraint and passion. Critics and audiences were left in awe of how he carried the film almost single-handedly, heightening a familiar revenge narrative through emotional authenticity.
The film was a package with soulful music, sleek action sequences, and Hrithik’s standout performance. It remains one of his most memorable roles of the 2010s, which showcased his ability to blend vulnerability with intensity.
Interestingly, Sanjay Gupta`s confirmation of Kaabil 2 comes nearly a year after Hrithik Roshan said that the film deserved a sequel. During the promotion of The Roshans in January 2025, Hrithik was seen in a promotional video wherein he was asked which of his films should get a sequel, to which he replied, “I’d go with Kaabil.”
Apart from Hrithik, Kaabil also starred Yami Gautam, Ronit Roy, and Rohit Roy among others.
