‘Patriot’ makers have finally released the first character poster from the film. Nayanthara herself shared the poster on her Instagram handle and wrote, “PATRIOT A MAHESH NARAYANAN FILM.” The poster immediately caught attention, not just for her look, but also for a small detail hidden inside it. There is a morse code written in the poster and that has made fans very curious.
About the poster
The poster shows Nayanthara in a very emotional state. Her eyes look heavy, and her face shows deep pain and strength at the same time. The overall colour tone of the poster is dark, which hints that her role in the film will be intense and serious. The tagline on the poster reads, “Dissent is patriotic.”
Fans react and decode the morse code
As soon as the poster went live, comments started pouring in. Fans filled the comment section with love and excitement. One person commented, “Thangameyyyy.” Another wrote, “Madhivadhini IAS is back.” One more comment said, “Lovely bhalothukkal, dear thangamey.” Some fans noticed the morse code and got curious. One comment simply read, “Morse code???.” Soon after, another fan decoded it and commented that it means, “April 23.”Another fan praised Nayanthara’s long journey and wrote, “Even after 20+ years only south actress ruling in all 4 languages .”
Makers promise more character reveals
The ‘Patriot’ team confirmed on the last day that they will start introducing characters from the film starting the next day. They shared a post on Instagram that said, “Unveiling The Characters from Tomorrow! Stay Tuned.” The makers also confirmed that the character posters will start dropping from Sunday.Directed by Mahesh Narayanan, ‘Patriot’ brings Mammootty and Mohanlal together in full-length roles after almost 18 years. This reunion alone has made the film one of the most awaited projects in recent times. The shoot for the film was completed on January 2, and the movie has now entered post-production.On the technical side, Manush Nandan ISC is the Director of Photography. Editing is handled by Mahesh Narayanan and Rahul Radhakrishnan. The production design is done by Shajie Naduvil and Jibin Jacob.
Nayanthara’s busy phase and past Malayalam outing
Apart from ‘Patriot’, Nayanthara is also part of Yash’s upcoming film Toxic. Earlier, the makers of Toxic had released her character look poster. The poster showed her in a strong and serious avatar. She was seen holding a gun and standing at what looked like the entrance of a large casino. While sharing that poster, the makers wrote, “Introducing Nayanthara as GANGA in – A Toxic Fairy Tale For Grown-Ups.”In Malayalam cinema, Nayanthara’s previous multistarrer film was ‘Twenty-Twenty’. In that movie, she appeared in the dance song “Hey Dil Deewana.”Now, with ‘Patriot’, she is once again returning to a big multistarrer space in Mollywood.
