Sunny Deol wished he could play an instrument or even sing
Known as a powerhouse on-screen, Sunny Deol recently unveiled a surprising side to his persona—a passion for music! He harbors a dream to either play an instrument or lend his voice to melodies. Although he enjoys exploring different genres, he admits that Hindustani classical, ghazals, and heavy metal pose a real challenge.

For over four decades, Bollywood audiences have associated Sunny Deol with high-voltage action, patriotic fervour, and unforgettable mass dialogues. But behind the screen image of the man who charged through cinematic battlefields with raw force, there lies a more unexpected personal truth: Sunny considers himself deeply connected to music.“In fact, I wish I could play an instrument, or even sing well, for that matter. Music helps you express yourself and brings out several emotions in you. I listen to different kinds of music all the time. But, somehow, I haven’t been able to get the hang of Hindustani classical music, ghazals, or heavy metal,” says the actor in his interview with Hindustan Times. The confession may surprise fans who associate him less with melodies and more with the rumble of trucks, the slam of fists, and the sound of explosive dialogue delivery. He also opened up about his favourite song from his own films and he said “Yaara o yaara’ from Jeet (1996) and ‘Main nikla gaddi leke’ from Gadar – Ek Prem Katha (2001) top his list.” Adding more he said “The track from Jeet became very famous because of my dance moves (laughs). I had decided to freak out in that song,” Sunny Deol is back doing what he does best- dominating box office. His latets film Border 2 has already crossed Rs 120 crore mark within three days of its release and has become his second biggest hit after Gadar 2. All eyes are now on Republic Day numbers whihc till 15:00 hrs has crossed Rs 23.65 crore mark and it seems it is loading for another Rs 50 crore mark. And if that happens the film is expected to cross Rs 200 crore mark before the first week ends and break Aditya Dhar and Dhurandhar’s Week 1 collection.
