Bhojpuri superstar Dinesh Lal Yadav, popularly known as Nirahua, is all set to surprise audiences with his comic timing in the upcoming Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain film. Speaking exclusively to mid-day, the actor expressed excitement about his role, his experience working with the cast, and why the film holds a special place for him.
Nirahua on being a part of the team
Calling the project special, Nirahua said, “This time, I think every fan is expecting something new from me. And I really want to thank Zee Studios from the bottom of my heart, our director Shashank ji, and the entire Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain team. This is really a surprise for our viewers.”
Talking about his character, he added, “My character in this film is a surprise because this is everyone’s favourite show. We ourselves are fans of Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain. Whether we are travelling or at home, whenever we get time, we watch it.”
Nirahua shared that working on the big-screen adaptation made him even more excited. “When we got the opportunity to work on this show as a film for the big screen, I was excited. Now, after working, I am more excited to watch it because my role is truly a surprise,” he said.
He added, “I still want to keep it a surprise. I want people to come to the theatre on the 6th and suddenly see Nirahua in a form they have never seen before.”
On his bond with Ravi Kishan and others
Speaking about shooting with Ravi Kishan and Mukesh Tiwari, Nirahua said, “It was so much fun. I have done many films with Ravi Kishan and also worked with Mukesh Tiwari in Scam 2. Both are so experienced that even their off-camera conversations were entertaining.”
Recalling a memorable moment, he laughed, “I used to tell them to put a camera there as well. Sometimes the director would say everything is ready, come and shoot, but their talks wouldn’t end.” He added, “Ravi Kishan would say, ‘Brother, it’s your film. Har Har Mahadev, let’s shoot.’ It was such a fun atmosphere.”
Talking about the show’s beloved characters, Nirahua said, “Whether it’s Vibhuti ji, Tiwari ji, Happu ji or Bhabhi ji, all these characters are our favourites. Working with them was amazing. I was mesmerised on the set.”
On transitioning from television comedy to a feature film, he explained, “The script is so good. The best thing about this show is that every scene is fun and every character is fun.”
He concluded by saying, “We laughed so much during the shoot that we used to get scolded. If we had so much fun making it, the audience will have even more fun watching it in theatres.”
