On one side stand Royal Challengers Bengaluru. They surged ahead of the pack early, setting the pace from the outset. There were a few setbacks along the way, but each time they responded with performances that underlined their title credentials.
Opposite them are the Delhi Capitals. Their campaign began unevenly, but they gathered momentum as the tournament progressed. They know this stage well, having reached the final before, but this time they arrive with the hope of changing the ending.
Once again, as they had in the previous three editions, they will have an opportunity. An opportunity to make history, to see their name at the top, to move past unfinished business, and to finally get the result they have been chasing.
