US Iran war LIVE: Oil and gas prices surged following Israeli and US strikes on Iran and retaliation by Tehran across the Gulf region. These attacks have forced shutdowns of oil and gas facilities ‌across the region.

Furthermore, the IRGC announced the closure of the Strait of Hormuz, further disrupting shipping.

As per Bloomberg, global benchmark Brent rose above $79 a barrel, after spiking about 7% on Monday, while West Texas Intermediate was near $72.

US Iran war LIVE: US forces have destroyed Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps command and control facilities in Tehran. As per a statement by US Central Command, Iranian air defense capabilities, missile and drone launch sites, and military airfields were also destroyed during sustained operations.

“We will continue to take decisive action against imminent threats posed by the Iranian regime,” the US defense wing added further.

US, Israel attack Iran LIVE: The Lebanese militant group Hezbollah has claimed it launched an attack on the Ramat David Air Base in northern Israel.

It said it targeted radar sites and control rooms at the base by deploying “a swarm of drones” at dawn today.

A statement from the Israeli military regarding the same is awaited.

US Iran war LIVE: The IRGC on Tuesday said it carried out a “massive drone and missile attack” on a US air base in the Sheikh Isa area of Bahrain this morning.

It said it deployed 20 drones and three missiles, “destroying the main command and headquarters building of the US air base and setting its fuel tanks on fire”.

US Iran War Live: In a rare turnaround, an Emirates flight bound for Dubai stayed outside UAE airspace after the country’s defence ministry alerts that air defenses were engaging ballistic missiles launched from Iran.

According to live plane tracker Flighradar24 data, the Emirates flight – EK501, flying from India’s Mumbai was seen making a double reverse, described as “rare”, before landing in Dubai. Follow more updates on the US Iran conflict’s impact on Dubai here

US Iran War Live: The Israeli military has issued new evacuation orders for dozens of locations in Lebanon on Tuesday, including a warning for residents in two southern Beirut neighbourhoods to stay away from several buildings ahead of imminent military action.

“Urgent warning to the residents of Lebanon, specifically in the villages which names are shown. For your safety you must evacuate your homes immediately,” said a statement by the military’s Arabic-language spokesman Avichay Adraee on Telegram, which listed 50 locations.

Many of the locations were across the south of Lebanon, which Israel regularly targets with the aim of hitting Hezbollah infrastructure.

“You are located near Hezbollah facilities and interests, against which the IDF will operate in the near future,” he told the residents of southern Beirut neighbourhoods Ghobeiry and Haret Hreik in another evacuation warning.

US Iran War Live: Russia has condemned the US-Israeli strikes on Iran as “a preplanned and unprovoked act of armed aggression against a sovereign and independent UN member state,” demanding an immediate halt to the military campaign and a return to diplomacy.

In a statement posted to Telegram, the Foreign Ministry accused “Washington and Tel Aviv” of “hiding behind” concerns about Iran’s nuclear program while actually pursuing regime change.

As the conflict escalates, Russian President Vladimir Putin has stated that Russia can use its links to Iran to help restore calm in West Asia.

In a series of calls with the leaders of the UAE, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia and Qatar, Putin criticised the US-Israeli strikes on Iran, which the Kremlin described as “unprovoked aggression”.

US Iran War Live: Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has announced the closure of the vital waterway of the Strait of Hormuz. As per reports, at least a fifth of the world’s oil consumption passes through the vital strait.

As per AL Jazeera, Brigadier General Ebrahim Jabari, the adviser to the commander of the IRGC stated in a television address that the closure comes in the wake of the conflict with US and Israel and as part of Iran’s effort to stop America from getting oil from the Middle East.

“The price of oil has reached $81 and the world is certainly waiting for it to reach at least $200. The Strait of Hormuz is closed. Our heroes in the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Navy and the Army will set fire to any ships that wish to pass through this strait,” he said on state television.

“We’ll also target their oil pipelines in the region, and we will not allow oil exports from this region until we put pressure on the enemy. The Americans have debts of hundreds of thousands of billions of dollars, and they are thirsty for the region’s oil. They will not get a single drop,” he said

US Iran War Live: The Kuwaiti military mistakenly shot down three US fighter jets, the US military said on Monday. As per the statement from US Central Command, the Kuwait mistakenly shot down three American F-15E fighter jets during an Iranian attack.

All six crew members ejected and were safely recovered.

US Iran War Live: The death toll across West Asia has increased. In Iran, Iranian state media, citing the Red Crescent, said at least 555 people have been killed and more than 700 injured in the ongoing strikes. Of this, around 180 were killed in Minab when a girls’ school was targeted by the US-Israeli military strike.

Meanwhile, four American service members were killed and four others seriously injured during the US attacks on Iran, the US military announced on Monday.

In Lebanon, 52 people have been killed due to Israeli strikes in the southern part of the country. The health ministry has added that around 154 people were injured due to the conflict between Israel and Hezbollah.

In the UAE, three people, one Pakistani, one Nepalese and one Bangladeshi were killed in the attacks in Dubai and Abu Dhabi. 58 others have also been injured due to the Iranian strikes.

In Israel, around 10 people have been killed due to Iranian strikes across the region. In Iraq, two people have been killed.

One person has also been killed in Kuwait, Oman and Bahrain, each. Meanwhile, at least 16 people have been injured in Qatar due to Iranian strikes.

As the conflict spreads and bombing to continue, the death toll is expected to increase.

US Iran War Live: Two MBBS students from Haryana’s Nuh are stranded in Iran’s Arak city amid escalating tensions in West Asia following an attack on the country by the US and Israel, their families have claimed.

Ziya Ur Rehman (25) from Rai Puri and Fahed Khan (22) from Bisru villages travelled to Iran in 2023 to pursue an MBBS at Arak University. With tensions rising, their parents and relatives say they are anxious, though both students have indicated that the situation in Arak remains stable for now.

Speaking to FOX News in an interview, the Israeli leader said that the attacks on Iran won’t be “an endless war” but could “take some time.”

He added that the campaign would be “a quick and decisive action,” later adding: “It may take some time, but it’s not going to take years.”

Taking to X, Assistant Secretary for Consular Affairs, Mora Namdar, wrote the the State Department and Secretary of State Marco Rubio urges American nationals to “DEPART NOW” from Bahrain, Kuwait, Egypt, Lebanon, Iran, Oman, Iraq, Qatar, Israel, the occupied West Bank and Gaza, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Syria, the United Arab Emirates, and Yemen, through commercial means.

US Iran War Liv: Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has hinted at the possble normalisation of ties between Tel Aviv and Saudi Arabia. Speaking to Fox newsm the Likud leader has stated that peace between Saudi Arabia and Israel would now be possible due to action against Iran.

Saudi Arabia and Israel were on track to normalise their relations. In exchange of normalisation, Saudi Arabia and the US would partner up to start a civil nuclear programme for Riyadh. However, due to Israel’s war on Gaza and ongoing genocide against Palestinians, Saudi Arabia announced it would be halting all discussions regarding ties with Israel.
