Arjun and Saaniya’s wedding came after weeks of festivities that had steadily built up excitement around the occasion. The couple had announced their engagement on August 25 last year, and the celebrations gathered momentum with several pre-wedding events in the months leading up to the ceremony.
Former India captain MS Dhoni arrived at the venue with his wife Sakshi Dhoni, drawing plenty of attention as he joined the Tendulkar family for the celebrations.
India head coach Gautam Gambhir was also present with his wife Natasha Jain, making the most of his time in Mumbai before India’s T20 World Cup semi-final against England later the same evening.

WHO IS SAANIYA CHANDHOK?
Unlike many in high-profile business families, Saaniya Chandhok has largely stayed away from the spotlight. She comes from the well-known Ghai family, which has built a strong presence in Mumbai’s hospitality and food industries over the decades.
The family’s business roots trace back to Iqbal Krishan “IK” Ghai, the entrepreneur behind the iconic Kwality Ice Cream brand and the InterContinental hotel on Mumbai’s Marine Drive. The group’s legacy is carried forward through Graviss Hospitality Ltd, led by Ravi Iqbal Ghai, which is the company behind Baskin-Robbins India.
Over the years, the family has also backed newer ventures such as The Brooklyn Creamery, a modern, health-focused ice cream brand launched by Ravi Ghai’s grandson Shivaan Ghai.
Saaniya herself is also involved in business. A graduate of the London School of Economics, Saaniya works as a veterinary technician and also runs a Mumbai-based luxury pet spa called Mr. Paws.
Earlier in the celebrations, the couple’s mehendi ceremony was held at Mumbai’s Mahalaxmi Racecourse. The festivities also included a pre-wedding celebration in Jamnagar hosted by the Ambani family.
