
Indian cricket fan Sudhir Kumar Chaudhary has wished Team India the best ahead of the crucial game against England at the Wankhede Stadium. The “Men In Blue` are up against England in the semi-finals of T20 World Cup 2026.
Chaudhary, who gained worldwide fame as a Sachin Tendulkar fan, follows the team around the globe and will be hoping that India makes it to the final of T20 World Cup.

Ahead of the World Cup semi-final outside the Wankhede Stadium, Chaudhary blew a conch shell to extend his best wishes to Team India. He said,” Ye shankh nahi, ye hai jung-e-elan. Team India sabse mahan. There is a young brigade in Team India. So, I hope that if Team India scores 250 plus, and registers an easy win.”
England win the toss and elect to bowl first
Harry Brook, the English skipper, won the toss and decided to bowl first at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. The dew factor will play an important role in the match, and the toss could play a crucial role.
Suryakumar Yadav will be quietly confident given Team India`s recent form at the Wankhede Stadium. India are unbeaten in their last 5 outings at Mumbai`s iconic stadium, including a win against the USA in the opening game of the tournament.
England made one change to their team with Jamie Overton coming in, in place of Rehan Ahmed, while India named an unchanged team for the semi-final.
