Have you heard? Vijay Sethupathi showers praises on Kajol

Vijay’s fan moment

Kajol was honoured with the ‘Pride of Indian Cinema’ award at an award ceremony held in Chennai, celebrating her remarkable contribution to Indian cinema over the past three decades. Actor Vijay Sethupathi, who attended the event, praised Kajol’s performances during a heartfelt on-stage moment. He said, “All your performances, I just love to see on-screen. Nothing more I can say, we are great fans, madam.” Kajol, in turn, responded with appreciation, and reflecting on Vijay’s craft, she said, “I think when you perform, you become a completely different person. I don’t have that yet, but I will strive towards it.”

Anupam Kher

Senior actor Anupam Kher attended a school function to cheer for Vanshika, the 14-year-old daughter of his late friend Satish Kaushik, calling the moment “the biggest joy” of his life. Sharing pictures from the event, Anupam recalled their early theatre days in Delhi. “Attending Vanshika’s school function as a parent and seeing her perform in a nukkad play [street play] was the biggest joy of my life,” he wrote, adding that Satish and he once performed street plays together. Satish, known for films like Mr India (1987) and Judaai (1997), died of a cardiac arrest in 2023, after which Anupam promised to remain closely involved in Vanshika’s life.

Akshay Kumar is set to join the fifth instalment of the Golmaal franchise, directed by Rohit Shetty. According to sources, the actor has allotted 18 days to shoot a “special yet impactful” role. “Akshay has a dynamic part that will bring the house down with laughter and share a very Tom and Jerry-like equation with Ajay Devgn,” the source told Pinkvilla. The film is scheduled to arrive in cinemas in 2027.

Reunion after nearly two decades
Actor Sharman Joshi will return to the ‘Golmaal’ series after almost 20 years, having last appeared in the original 2006 film alongside Ajay Devgn and the ensemble
