YouTuber and former Bigg Boss 17 contestant Anurag Dobhal has been at the centre of a growing controversy following his alleged suicide attempt and the ongoing dispute involving his family. Recently, his brother Kalam Ink shared serious revelations about the aftermath of the incident, claiming that their family has been facing threats and online harassment.
Anurag Dobhal`s brother makes shocking revelation
In a detailed Instagram video, Kalam Ink addressed several accusations made by Anurag and called for a proper investigation into the matter. According to him, the situation escalated after Anurag went live on social media and allegedly blamed his family members for his distress.
Kalam claimed that the public reaction following the livestream created a hostile environment for their family. Speaking about the backlash they received, he said, “You have eight million followers and you said on live that if you die, my parents, my brother and his wife would be responsible.” He further revealed that many people gathered outside their house soon after the incident.
The situation became even more alarming, he alleged, when threats started coming from angry supporters. “People are threatening to burn us alive if they see us outside,” Kalam said, expressing concern for the safety of his family members.

He also criticised the narrative that formed after the suicide attempt, suggesting that public sympathy may have shifted attention away from earlier claims and evidence. Kalam argued that if such extreme actions influence public perception, it could send the wrong message to people online.
Reacting to the incident itself, Kalam said the family was deeply shaken. He recalled how the situation left their mother in shock and emphasised how serious the consequences could have been. “Thank God he survived, and no one else was hurt,” he said, referring to the crash that reportedly occurred when Anurag drove his car at around 150 kmph on a highway.
Kalam also addressed allegations that Anurag had previously made against the family. According to him, cases related to domestic violence, caste harassment, and dowry were filed against them but were later withdrawn due to a lack of evidence. He maintained that if the family had actually committed those acts, proof should be presented.
He further revealed that their father has been dealing with serious health issues, including brain strokes, which has added to the emotional strain on the family during the controversy.
Concluding his statement, Kalam urged authorities to conduct a thorough investigation into all the allegations. He also said he is willing to face legal consequences if proven guilty, adding that his main priority is clearing his parents’ names and putting an end to the misinformation surrounding the dispute.
