Fans have been eagerly awaiting an update on Ranbir Kapoor’s Ramayana, and their wait is finally set to end today. On the occasion of Hanuman Jayanti, the makers are all set to unveil a new glimpse from the film, titled Rama. Ahead of its release, Ranbir’s wife and actor Alia Bhatt spoke about the much-awaited glimpse, calling it “out of this world” as she showed support for her husband. Alia Bhatt expresses support for husband Ranbir Kapoor
In a clip from a virtual interaction with fans, Alia was seen sharing her excitement about the Rama glimpse from Ramayana. She said, “Ramayana unit is going to be out tomorrow. It is the unit called the Rama unit. I’m going to be posting it on my social media, so again, please go out there and support it.”
She further spoke about Ranbir’s performance and added to fans’ excitement, saying, “It’s absolutely fabulous. I think Ranbir has just done such a beautiful job and I just can’t wait for you guys to see it. It’s just out of this world.”
Fans were delighted to see Alia cheering for her husband. One user wrote, “She has always been his fangirl.” Another commented, “She’s Ranveer Singh in another marriage.” One comment read, “What a supportive wife. I truly hope the movie achieves success. RK deserves this film to be a superhit and more.” Another fan wrote, “Husband-wife goals.” One more comment read, “Biwi de toh bhagwan aisi de (If God gives me a wife, then give me one like her).”
About the Ramayana glimpse
Fans were expecting an update on Ram Navami but were left disappointed when the makers did not reveal anything from the film. Later, the film’s producer, Namit Malhotra, took to social media to inform fans that the next glimpse of Ramayana, titled Rama, would be released on Hanuman Jayanti, April 2, through a grand world reveal. Before this, a three-minute glimpse of Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana was unveiled on July 3, 2025.
According to a report in Pinkvilla, the new glimpse will offer viewers a look at Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi, Ravi Dubey, Sunny Deol and Yash in the film.
About Ramayana
Helmed by Nitesh Tiwari, the film also stars Sai Pallavi as Sita, Ravi Dubey as Lakshman and Sunny Deol as Lord Hanuman. Legendary composer Hans Zimmer has joined AR Rahman for the music score. The film is set to be released in two parts, with the first instalment scheduled to release worldwide in October 2026 ahead of Diwali, while the second part is slated for Diwali 2027.
