Actors Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda made their relationship official after staying mum for years by getting married in Udaipur on February 26. Pre-wedding ceremonies like the pelli koduku-kuturu (making of the groom and bride) function, sangeet, haldi, and more preceded the intimate wedding attended only by their family and friends. Unseen inside pictures from the wedding show Vijay’s mother and Rashmika’s attagaru (mother-in-law), Madhavi, showering her with love.

Shilpa Venepally, who attended the Virosh wedding, posted numerous unseen pictures on her Instagram. One set of pictures featuring Rashmika showed her in a brown saree at her pelli kuturu function, with a wide smile. The actor is also seen in dark silk pyjamas as she chats away with family. The sweetest pictures featured her and Madhavi. One picture showed Vijay’s mother gifting her heirloom gold bangles during the mehendi, and another showed her smiling widely as she stood beside the bride. There are also unseen pictures from the haldi included in the set.
Another set of pictures seems to be from Vijay’s pelli koduku ceremony. Dressed in a white kurta and pyjama with a turban on his head, the actor poses for pictures with his family members after the ceremony. One picture, apparently taken during the ceremony, shows Vijay in a brown kurta as he poses with Madhavi, his thoda pelli koduku (groom companion), and other family members. His brother, Anand Deverakonda, is also seen in some of the pictures with the family.

Rashmika and Vijay worked together in Geetha Govindam (2018) and Dear Comrade (2019) and were a hit on-screen pair. However, the duo never worked together again due to the issues it caused at Rashmika’s home after she broke her engagement to Rakshit Shetty in 2018. Vijay was also rumoured to be dating a Belgian national, though he never made the relationship public.
However, fans soon noticed that Rashmika and Vijay were spending time together at the gym, at his home or on vacations. Rumours of them dating intensified in 2020 after fans deduced that she was spending more time at his home. The couple kept things under wraps and in October 2025, got engaged in a quiet ceremony in Hyderabad. They only made their relationship public a few days before their wedding.
Vijay and Rashmika are now working together after years in Rahul Sankrityan’s period actioner Ranabaali, which will be released on September 11. Rashmika also has Cocktail 2 and Mysaa lined up, while Vijay has Rowdy Janardhana.
