Wheel of Fortune: Akshay Kumar`s poetic exchange wins hearts

In the upcoming episode of Wheel of Fortune, Akshay Kumar adds charm and warmth to the stage with a delightful poetic exchange that leaves everyone smiling.

Akshay Kumar discusses poetry

During the segment, Akshay Kumar interacts with contestant Priya and mentions that her “ishq wala” poem is quite popular online. Curious, he asks if she has ever written something based on her own love story. Priya responds affirmatively, but with a twist, she reveals that the poem she has written is about a love that hasn’t yet come true.

She then recites her heartfelt and relatable poem, reflecting the contrast between old-school romance and modern-day lifestyles searching for handwritten letters in the age of smartphones, adrak wali chai in a coffee-driven culture, and meaningful conversations in the era of Instagram stories. Her performance receives loud applause from the audience.

Impressed, Akshay praises her, saying he has heard many poems in his life, but this one truly stands out. When he asks when she wrote it, Priya shares that it was originally written in 2019 and has now been “upgraded” to 2026.

To keep the fun going, Akshay turns to the audience and asks if anyone else writes poetry. He playfully invites Priya`s husband, who is called “Mr. 99,” to share something. In a funny moment, he reads a funny poem he wrote for his wife, which makes everyone laugh and applaud.

Moments like these on Wheel of Fortune highlight the talent and emotions of real people, where love finds its way through simple expressions brought to life with warmth, laughter, and Akshay Kumar’s engaging presence.

Akshay stresses the importance of education

Talking to contestant Sonali, he spoke about his wife being a writer and said, “Meri patni lekhak hai, woh kitabe likhti hai. Ek nahi, do nahi, teen nahi, chaar likh chuki hai aur ab ek aur likh rahi hai. Aap vishwas nahi karenge, maine ek bhi kitab nahi padhi hai. Jab bhi main padhne baithta hoon, pata nahi kya hota hai, aankhon se aansu nikalne lagte hain.” He then asked Sonali, “Teacher ji, aisa kyun lagta hai jab main padhne baithta hoon toh aankhon se paani nikalta hain?”

On a more serious note, Akshay added that education is very important and he always encourages his children to study as much as possible. He also mentioned that his wife recently completed her Master`s degree and is now planning to pursue a PhD. He concluded with an important message, saying, “Main bas yeh kehna chahta hoon ki padho, padhna bahut zaruri hai. Mujh jaise ko follow mat karo, Sonali jaise logon ko follow karo.”
