Legendary singer Asha Bhosle who is 92 years old has been rushed to the hospital on Saturday night. Reporters on the field have confirmed that she was admitted to Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai due to cardiac arrest and pulmonary problems. The singer has not been keeping well since the last few months. The veteran singer’s grand-daughter Zanai Bhosle took to Instagram and shared an health update. She wrote, “My grandmother, Asha Bhosle, due to extreme exhaustion and suffering a chest infection, has been admitted to hospital… Treatment is ongoing, and hopefully everything will be well, and we shall update you positively”Fans wish her a speedy recovery. Asha Bhosle, born on September 8, 1933, is one of the most celebrated and versatile voices in Indian music, with a career spanning over seven decades. Despite being Lata Mangeshkar‘s younger sister, Bhosle carved her own identity with an extraordinary range, effortlessly moving from classical-based melodies to cabaret numbers, pop, ghazals, and folk songs.Her filmography is vast, with thousands of songs across Hindi cinema and several regional languages. She became especially iconic through her collaborations with composers like R. D. Burman, O. P. Nayyar, and Khayyam.
