Dhruv Jurel pulled off a stunning stumping to dismiss Cameron Green during the IPL 2026 clash between Kolkata Knight Riders and Rajasthan Royals on Sunday, April 19, at Eden Gardens, Kolkata. In the fifth over of KKR’s run chase, Green departed for a brisk 27 off 13, with Ravi Bishnoi claiming his wicket.

Bishnoi bowled a wide and conceded an extra run, but he wouldn’t have minded at all. And why would he? He had just removed Green, who looked set to take the game away from the Royals. Spotting Green dancing down the track, Bishnoi fired in a googly down the leg side. The ball spun away, making it extremely difficult for Jurel, who was momentarily blinded by the batter.
However, Jurel kept his composure, dived sharply to his left, and gathered the ball cleanly. What followed was sheer brilliance—he released a one-handed throw that hit the stumps directly. Green, stranded well out of his crease, had no chance of making it back. The third umpire took a brief look for confirmation, but even to the naked eye, it appeared a comfortable dismissal.

That’s when Cameron Green walked in and immediately counterattacked, shifting the momentum with fearless strokeplay.
Green looked in sublime touch right away, cutting anything short and wide, and even using the pace of Jofra Archer to glance boundaries fine. He raced to 12 off his first four balls, showcasing intent and confidence. Against Nandre Burger, he was equally aggressive, smashing a towering six over mid-wicket and finding the fence multiple times with powerful cuts and pulls.
With four boundaries and a six in just 13 balls, Green appeared to be taking the game away. However, just as he looked set for a match-defining knock, Ravi Bishnoi cut his innings short with a clever googly, ending a blistering cameo.
