The political future of six dissident Shiv Sena (UBT) MPs is expected to become clear in the coming days. Rebel Army (UBT) MP Nagesh Patil Ashtikar on Sunday confirmed that he has joined the Shiv Sena headed by Deputy CM Eknath Shinde. Sanjay Raut claimed that some rebel MPs are in touch with the party as they are afraid of public anger in their constituencies.
Dharashiv MP Omprakash Raje Nimbalkar said he would announce his stand after consulting supporters and party workers in his constituency.
Nimbalkar left Pune Amidst heavy police security, a meeting of supporters and party officials was called for Dharashiv in Govardhanwadi village on Sunday afternoon.
All six dissident MPs are expected to hold a formal press conference only after Nimbalkar announces his decision, which he said could come by Monday.

Six MPs – Omprakash Raje Nimbalkar, Sanjay Dina Patil, Sanjay Deshmukh, Sanjay Jadhav, Bhausaheb Wakchore and Nagesh Patil-Ashtikar – did not attend the House. Ashtikar confirms joining Shinde Army citing lack of funds
Rebel Shiv Sena (UBT) MP Nagesh Patil Ashtikar on Sunday confirmed that he has joined the Eknath Shinde-led Shiv Sena. He cited lack of development funds for his constituency and comments made against dissident MPs as the reason for taking the decision.

In a video message, the Hingoli MP said he and some other Sena (UBT) MPs had not taken any decision till June 18. “We had not gone anywhere. However, since Thursday, some comments were made against us, which convinced us that there is no point in staying here (Shiv Sena-UBT),” he said in an apparent reference to party leader Sanjay Raut’s statements.
According to PTI, Ashtikar said he has not given up his ideology: “I have not gone anywhere. I have just come from Shiv Sena to Shiv Sena.”
Explaining his step, he said that due to being in opposition, the development work in his constituency is being affected.
“The work of party workers is not getting done because we are not in power. People have elected us with a lot of expectations and it is my job to get their work done. But I am not getting any development funds.” ₹The MPLAD fund of Rs 5 crore is very limited.”
He alleged that despite efforts in the last two years, he could not secure adequate funds for his Lok Sabha constituency. “We need funds and I have taken this step. I will continue to work for the people and fulfill the responsibility that people have entrusted to me.”
Ashtikar said he was not angry with Sena (UBT) chief Uddhav Thackeray, but indicated that comments by party leaders had influenced his decision. “I was left with no option,” he said, adding that those who were angry with him would eventually understand his position.
Responding to Raut’s warning that rebel MPs may face action from angry Shiv Sena workers under “Operation Tudva”, Ashtikar said, “Though he is a father figure and can scold, he should understand that everyone has the ability to respond in kind. Even he knows the consequences.”
Raut says the rebels are in touch with the party
Shiv Sena (UBT) Rajya Sabha Member Sanjay Raut Claimed that some disgruntled MPs are in touch with the party and are worried about public anger in their constituencies.
“Some MPs are still in touch. They are scared because of the anger in their constituency,” Raut told reporters, according to PTI. He said that currently discussions are going on with at least two rebel MPs.
He said that the party is ready to talk if the MPs feel that they have made a mistake.
Raut also said that the rebel MPs are technically still members of Shiv Sena (UBT). he said neither Lok Sabha Neither the Speaker nor the Shinde-led Shiv Sena had made any formal announcement regarding his status.
According to him, although the MPs have violated the party whip by not attending the parliamentary meeting, they have not publicly announced that they are leaving the party.

Amit Shah’s comment has started a new controversy
Raut strongly criticized the Union Home Minister Amit Shah to say that now there is only one Shiv Sena Under Maharashtra Deputy CM Eknath Shinde.
Addressing a public meeting in Kolhapur on Saturday, Shah said that there is no faction within Shiv Sena now and the party is now being led by Shinde.
Raut accused Shah of insulting Shiv Sena founder Bal Thackeray And Maharashtra.
“There is only one Shiv Sena and it is led by Uddhav Thackeray,” he said.
Show cause notice, disqualification possible
The party has started disciplinary action against six MPs. Chief Whip Anil Desai issued a fresh show cause notice, giving him 24 hours to explain his absence from the parliamentary party meeting. The notice warned that non-response would be tantamount to voluntarily giving up the membership of the party. This would potentially attract action under the Tenth Schedule of the Constitution.
According to PTI, Lok Sabha member Arvind Sawant said that none of the six MPs responded to the notice issued on June 18. The party’s next step may be to approach the Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla There are demands to disqualify him for violating the whip.
Shiv Sena (UBT) leaders have continued efforts to convince the MPs to stay. MLAs Kailash Patil and Varun Sardesai met Nimbalkar at his Pune residence early Sunday and conveyed the party chief’s message. Uddhav Thackeray.

Nimbalkar also said he would challenge in the High Court the special court’s verdict acquitting former NCP minister Padmasingh Patil and seven others in the 2006 murder of his father, Congress leader Pawanraje Nimbalkar.
The MP had earlier rejected Sanjay Raut’s claims that he was being pressured through the legal case to switch political sides.
War of words between Raut and BJP
The political fight also intensified due to the heated exchange between Sanjay Raut and Maharashtra Minister Girish Mahajan.
Mahajan mocked Raut by saying it was only a matter of time before central agencies Enforcement Directorate (ED) and Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) met him.
