Raveena Tandon, who appeared in the blockbuster hit ‘KGF: Chapter 2’ in 2022, is making a comeback in Bollywood. After confirming her reunion with Akshay Kumar in ‘Welcome to the Jungle‘, reports now suggest that she is being considered for an important role in ‘Pati Patni Aur Woh 2‘ alongside Kartik Aaryan.
According to Bollywood Hungama, Raveena is in advanced discussions with director Mudassar Aziz for the sequel to the popular comedy film. She has reportedly been offered a glamorous role that adds a twist to the story. Her character is central to creating chaos in the hero’s life, played by Kartik Aaryan. A final decision regarding her involvement is expected by January 2025.

The film, which also stars Bhumi Pednekar as “Patni,” is currently in the scripting phase and is scheduled to begin shooting in the summer of 2025. Kartik Aaryan is riding high on the success of ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’ by Anees Bazmee, and reports have also hinted at expanding the franchise with a part 4.
The first part of ‘Pati Patni Aur Woh’ featured Kartik Aaryan, Bhumi Pednekar, and Ananya Panday in key roles. The 2019 film, directed by Mudassar Aziz, was based on the 1978 classic ‘Pati Patni Aur Woh’ (starring Sanjeev Kumar, Vidya Sinha, and Ranjeeta Kaur) and became a box-office hit.
On the work front, Raveena Tandon will reportedly have an OTT release titled ‘Dynasty’, and there is further speculation about her playing a significant role in a Telugu movie. She was last seen in the OTT show ‘Patna Shukla‘.
