Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 box office collection Day 21: Kartik Aaryan starrer ends third week with impressive Rs 240 crore haul

The birthday celebrations are just getting started for actor Kartik Aaryan, whose film ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3‘ closed its third week with an impressive total collection of Rs 240 crore nett. The horror-comedy sequel, directed by Anees Bazmee, which has been having a dream run at the box office, emerged as one of the biggest hits of the year, and also became the leading man’s highest-earning film of all time.
The film, which hit cinemas during the Diwali festive season, sustained its momentum despite stiff competition from Ajay Devgn’s ‘Singham Again‘, and other new releases, including ‘The Sabarmati Express’ and ‘Gladator II’.
According to Sacnilk.com, ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’ opened to an impressive Rs 35 crore on its first day and went on to cross the Rs 100 crore mark within its opening weekend. The film maintained strong footfalls throughout its first and second weeks at the box office, earning an estimated Rs 158.25 crore and Rs 58 crore respectively. Riding high on positive word-of-mouth and glowing reviews, the film’s total domestic earnings stand at Rs 240 crore.
Trade analysts predict that the film which features an ensemble cast including Vidya Balan, Madhuri Dixit, Triptii Dimri, and Rajpal Yadav, will soon cross the Rs 250 crore mark, making it one of the highest-grossing Bollywood films of the year and the highest-earning film of the ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa’ franchise.
With his film raking in the big bucks at the box office, Kartik, who has been busy promoting his film around he country, shared photos of himself enjoying the sunset in Goa.
Meanwhile, reports indicate that the makers are eyeing a January 2025 release for the film, much like Rohit Shetty‘s ‘Singham Again’.
