Dhanush and Nayanthara spotted publicly post the 'Beyond The Fairytale' controversy

Amid the controversy surrounding Nayanthara’s documentary ‘Beyond The Fairytale’, which featured footage from the Dhanush-produced film ‘Naanum Rowdy Dhaan’, the two stars were spotted at a wedding hosted by producer Aakash Baskaran in Chennai. The event saw the presence of prominent Kollywood figures, including Dhanush, Nayanthara, Vignesh Shivan, Sivakarthikeyan, and Anirudh Ravichander, who gathered to congratulate the newlyweds. The stars donned traditional attire, adding charm to the celebration, while pictures and videos from the occasion quickly went viral on social media. Despite being seated close to each other, Dhanush and Nayanthara avoided any interaction, underscoring their ongoing tensions. However, Nayanthara was seen engaging with Sivakarthikeyan, who notably also did not interact with Dhanush in any publicly shared footage or photos from the event.
Aakash Baskaran is making his debut as a producer through Dhanush’s ‘Idli Kadai’, and he is also gearing up to launch exciting projects with Nayanthara, Sivakarthikeyan, and others. Meanwhile, netizens react to Dhanush and Nayanthara’s appearance at Aakash Baskaran’s wedding and they remember an iconic scene featuring Rajinikanth and Ramya Krishnan from ‘Padayappa’ as they were spotted in a single frame.

Dhanush vs Nayanthara
Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan, who fell in love while working for ‘Naanum Rowdy Dhaan’, opted to use a BTS video from the film for their wedding documentary. But Dhanush, the producer of the film, who was unhappy with the production of the film due to its extension in its budget, refrained from using footage from the 2015 Tamil film. This led to a dispute as Dhanush claimed Rs 10 crore for using clippings from ‘Naanum Rowdy Dhaan’. Whereas, Nayanthara took a direct attack on the actor-producer through a letter on social media.
