Bihar Election 2025 Live: With the last day of campaigning for the first phase of Bihar Assembly elections approaching, political bigwigs from both the NDA and the Grand Alliance are set to hold rallies in the state. These include Union Home Minister Amit Shah, BJP National President JP Nadda and Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta. Congress general secretary Priyanka Gandhi, RJD leader and opposition CM face Tejashwi Prasad Yadav and campaigners from AIMIM, Shakti Janata Dal and Jan Suraj Party will also address rallies in Bihar.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will also interact with women workers of the BJP-led NDA in Bihar as part of the party’s ‘Mera Booth Sabse Strong’ initiative. In a post on social media platform X, Modi said he would hold talks at 3.30 pm. “Women power in Bihar is working with extraordinary energy and commitment to ensure the victory of BJP-NDA in the assembly elections,” Modi said in the post in Hindi.
On Monday, PM Modi, Amit Shah, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge and Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi addressed rallies in the poll-bound state. While PM Modi alleged that Congress was forced to declare RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav as the opposition’s Bihar CM face, Union minister Shah said the India block will be “wiped out” on November 14.
On the other hand, Congress chief Kharge highlighted the absence of Bihar CM Nitish Kumar from PM Modi’s rallies and reiterated his claim that BJP will not make him the chief minister again. During this, Priyanka said that “Bihar has no voice” under the NDA. She further claimed that even the Chief Minister of Bihar “does not have any role in important decisions.”
Manifesto of NDA and Grand Alliance
The current NDA’s manifesto or ‘Sankalp Patra’ focuses on creating 10 million jobs, education, health care, infrastructure and women empowerment. it pledges Financial assistance of Rs 10 lakh to the most backward class, and 2,000 monthly to Scheduled Caste students enrolled in higher education, as well as guaranteed MSP for farmers.
India Bloc, which is banking on the anti-incumbency wave, has promised to provide a government job to one member of every family in the state in its ‘tejaswi pratigya prana’. It promises to provide financial assistance to women 2,500 per month for the next five years from December 1 and a promise to postpone the Waqf (Amendment) Bill.

RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav on Tuesday refused to comment further on AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi’s criticism of his “extremist” remarks. “It is not an issue at this point,” he said.
AIMIM, in response to a journalist’s question on why the alliance was not welcoming Owaisi, had posted a purported clip of Tejashwi saying there was “no room for extremists” in the grand alliance.

BJP leader and former MP Smriti Irani said at a rally in Patna, Bihar that it was “sad” for her that the RJD had written to the Election Commission to stop the benefits of women beneficiaries in the state.
“It is sad for me that on one hand, the NDA government is transferring money directly into the accounts of women beneficiaries in Bihar, while on the other hand, RJD leaders have given a written proposal to the Election Commission to stop the benefits,” Irani said.
