Mumtaz recalls last meeting with Dharmendra; praises Sunny, Bobby Deol: 'I’ve heard they are all living together'

Veteran actor Mumtaz recently opened up about her memories with Dharmendra, recalling their last meeting and reflecting on his warmth as a person. In a recent chat, she also spoke about her limited interaction with his sons, Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol, while praising them for their upbringing.

‘I went to his house… we spent time together’

Talking about her last interaction with Dharmendra, Mumtaz shared with Vickey Lalwani, “I went to his house with my sister Malika. His wife served us tea and food… we sat and spoke.”She added that the two had remained in touch over the years, even meeting at social gatherings. “He also came for one or two of my birthday celebrations. It was a big party… he came and sat with us.”Remembering him fondly, Mumtaz said, “He was a very good human being. I don’t know… maybe God needs good people more, so He takes them away sooner.”

Not very close to Sunny and Bobby

When asked about her bond with Dharmendra’s sons, the actress admitted that she hasn’t interacted much with them.“I’m not very close to them. It just never happened. We never worked together, and they didn’t come to sets, so I didn’t meet them much,” she said.Despite limited interaction, Mumtaz had only good things to say about Sunny and Bobby.“I haven’t met them much, but I’ve heard they are very nice people. When the father is such a good person, the children will be good too,” she shared.

‘I am very proud of them’

Mumtaz also spoke about reports of the Deol family staying together, adding, “I’ve heard they are all living together and are very happy. They are even extending a floor in their house, so it seems they’ll continue living together.”She concluded on a warm note, saying, “If that’s true, then it’s a very good thing. It means they are good-hearted boys. I am so proud of them.”
