On the auspicious occasion of Gudi Padwa and Ugadi, on the 19th of March, Bollywood celebrities took to their respective social media accounts to extend festive wishes to their fans, further marking the beginning of the Hindu New Year in many parts of India.
Actor Ajay Devgn shared a festive post highlighting traditional food associated with the festival. The picture featured a plate of puran poli served with bowls of ghee and flavoured milk placed beside it. The post read, “Nothing says Gudi Padwa like a plate of Puran Poli.”

“It Irritates the Living Daylights Out of Me”
Speaking on Mbangwa Media Youtube channel De Villiers didn’t hold back while addressing comparisons with top IPL run-scorers:“So I hate it when they compare my runs to other players in the IPL, because then I go like, but I haven’t faced as many balls as the openers. It irritates the living daylights out of me.”“This guy scored 8,000 runs, he’s the best ever. I’m like, no, I’m better than him he’s faced more balls. Don’t do it.” he added.
“It’s the Easiest Thing in the World”
The former RCB legend took aim at the advantage openers enjoy in T20 cricket: “And then on top of that, they’re all openers and they bat with these restrictions only two guys out, and it’s like, it’s the easiest thing in the world, especially in India. It’s ridiculous, man. You can’t play cricket like that.”
“Don’t Compare My Stats With Openers”
De Villiers questioned the fairness of comparing players across batting positions: “But then don’t compare my stats now that I know that, with everybody. They’re all openers, all the main top run-scorers, the Orange Caps they have. A federal jury in San Francisco has found Elon Musk liable for defrauding Twitter (now X) investors in 2022 by disparaging the company in an effort to secure a lower purchase price for the platform, Bloomberg News reported on Friday.Jurors concluded that Musk intentionally misled shareholders by claiming the social media company—later renamed X—had an excessive number of fake accounts, while attempting to withdraw from his $44 billion acquisition deal, the report said. However, the court absolved him of some fraud allegations, adding that he did not “scheme” to mislead investors.Jurors were tasked with determining whether two tweets and comments Musk made on a podcast in May 2022 constituted intentional fraud against shareholders who traded based on his statements. After three days of deliberations, the nine-member jury concluded that Musk misled investors through two tweets — including one stating the deal was “temporarily on hold” — but did not do so via his podcast remarks and did not engage in a deliberate scheme to defraud.The verdict came nearly three weeks after the trial began on March 2. While damages in the class-action case remain to be finalised, they are expected to run into billions of dollars. The jury awarded shareholders between about $3 and $8 per share per day.Much of the case focused on Musk’s claims regarding the number of fake accounts on Twitter. He argued that the platform had significantly more bots and spam accounts than the roughly 5% disclosed in regulatory filings, using this as grounds to attempt to withdraw from the $44 billion deal.After Musk sought to back out, Twitter filed a lawsuit in Delaware to enforce the agreement. Just before the case was set to go to trial, Musk reversed course and agreed to proceed with the acquisition on the original terms.

Rashmika fills her plate with laddoos and gives her a sweet kiss as Vijay does the same after feeding her rice. “Manam kuda friends ee kada (Aren’t we friends too)?” she asks sweetly as Vijay and Rashmika smile. 15-year-old Rwanda batter Fanny Utagushimaninde scripts history with Women’s T20I century on debut
Rwanda batter Fanny Utagushimaninde made history on Friday by becoming the youngest T20I centurion. She achieved the milestone against Ghana in the Nigeria Invitational Women’s T20I Tournament at Tafawa Balewa Square Cricket Oval in Lagos.
At just 15 years and 223 days, Utagushimaninde broke the record previously held by Uganda’s Prosscovia Alako, who scored 116 against Mali in Kigali in 2019 at 16 years and 233 days. She smashed 111 off 65 balls, including 17 fours.
In men’s cricket, the youngest T20I centurion record is held by France’s Gustav McKeon, who scored a century against Switzerland in 2022 at 18 years and 280 days.
Utagushimaninde also became the first player in Women’s T20I history to score a century on debut, surpassing Karen Rolton’s record of 96 not out against England in Taunton in 2005 for the highest score on Women’s T20I debut.
In men’s T20Is, players such as Canada’s Matthews Spoors, Serbia’s Leslie Dunbar, Namibia’s JP Kotze, and Canada’s Ravinderpal Singh have scored centuries on debut, but none were from full-member nations.
Fanny Utagushimaninde help Rwanda thrash Ghana

Chuck Norris, the US martial artist and Hollywood tough guy most famous for his role in the “Walker, Texas Ranger” television series, has died, his family said Friday. He was 86.Norris died Thursday morning, the family said on Instagram, after media reports that he had been hospitalized for an undisclosed condition while on the Hawaiian island of Kauai.“To the world, he was a martial artist, actor, and a symbol of strength,” the statement read. “To us, he was a devoted husband, a loving father and grandfather, an incredible brother, and the heart of our family.”The family said it wanted to keep the details of Norris’s passing private, adding that “please know that he was surrounded by his family and was at peace.”The news of his death triggered an outpouring of memorials from fellow Hollywood tough guys and fans.
