In 2019, a crossover image of four actors from different generations and parts of the world posing together went viral. It had Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, Hong Kong action Jackie Chan, Hollywood action star Jean Claude van Damme, and GoT-fame and DC’s Aquaman Jason Momoa. The occasion was the Joy Awards in Saudi Arabia. Since then, Jason has met Shah Rukh a couple of times more, including very recently in Saudi Arabia again. In a recent interview, Jason talked about meeting Shah Rukh and could not stop praising him.

When asked what the two spoke about when they met, Jason added, “Just two mutual friends and fans of each other’s work. He is just a sweetheart. He was very much a gentleman. He’s a better actor and better performer than I am. So it was mutual respect.”

Shah Rukh Khan is one of the most successful and globally recognised Indian actors. In a three-decade career, he has delivered countless hits and also won a National Film Award for Best Actor. He is currently awaiting the release of his next film, King, his first in three years. The action adventure, which also stars his daughter Suhana Khan, will release on Christmas this year.

The search for Nancy Guthrie, the 84-year-old mother of ‘Today Show’ cohost Savannah Guthrie, marked its 13th day with promising evidence updates. Pima County Sheriff’s Department officials revealed details on gloves and unidentified DNA found near her Tucson, Arizona home. Nancy Guthrie vanished on February 1 after a masked intruder tampered with her surveillance camera.

Key evidence clarified

Authorities corrected early reports about glove locations. “Several gloves have been located during the investigation. The closest gloves were found approximately two miles from the home,” stated the sheriff’s press release, as shared by MS NOW and E! News. “Reports that a glove was found inside the residence or on the property are inaccurate. All collected evidence has been submitted for laboratory analysis.” No gloves appeared on Nancy Guthrie’s property itself.Investigators expanded the search radius to 10 miles. Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos told ABC News on February 13 that DNA was recovered from the gloves and other items. “We’ve gotten DNA back,” Sheriff Chris Nanos said. “They already have the genetic markers of those that we think had access to the home.” Samples from family members and household help aid elimination. “Now we have to go through and try to eliminate people,” Sheriff Chris Nanos added. He expressed optimism: “We are getting closer.”

Separate from the gloves, unidentified DNA emerged inside Nancy Guthrie’s residence. “DNA other than Nancy Guthrie’s and those in close contact to her has been collected from the property,” the press release noted. “Investigators are working to identify who it belongs to. We are not disclosing where that DNA was located.” Sheriff Chris Nanos confirmed collaboration with the FBI for analysis.

Mumbai: Filmmaker Karan Johar can’t stop praising Shanaya Kapoor and Adarsh Gourav’s survival thriller ‘Tu Yaa Main’.

Taking to his Instagram handle, Karan Johar posted a long note, describing the film as “traumatising (in the best way possible)”.

“NO CARDIO NEEDED! You will physically jump out of your seats right through the second half of this traumatising (in the best way possible) survival croc edge of the seater! Swimming pools will never be the same for me again…. NEVER! And if you happen to have a partner this Valentine.. take them to watch #tuyamain and tell them to wear armour because you will clutch onto them in FEAR!!!!

Noting that he was left in “stress” after watching the film, Karan added, “I am still stressed and the film got over 30 minutes ago! I feel like a crocodile may appear even in the middle of Mumbai traffic and attack me (I am dramatic I know but this film has made me take an extra dose of my BP meds)”

The filmmaker went on to give a shoutout to director Bejoy Nambiar, producer Aanand L Rai, and the lead actors Shanaya and Gourav.

Actor Sunny Deol has opened up about the highs and lows of his career in the film industry. Speaking with news agency ANI, he reflected on how cinema and audience preferences have evolved over the years.

He added that success often makes one appreciate the role of destiny. “After years of struggle, when a film does well, you start believing in destiny. Before that, you are only thinking that ‘I will make my destiny, I will do this, I will do that. A person keeps doing it’,” he said.

After delivering several hits, the actor experienced a slower phase with fewer hits. The actor shared how filmmaking changed post-2000, saying, “Things keep changing. Aur kya hota hai industry bhi kaafi badalti rahi hai (And industry has also changed a lot). And like, I think after 2000, the corporate world came in, and the ways of making films, I mean, the subjects and topics and actors’ choices and the directors, everything kept changing. So us daur mein shayad mere layak koi aesa subject ya cheez nahi thi (So maybe at that time, there was no such subject or anything like that for me).”

The war drama also features Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh, Ahan Shetty, Mona Singh, Sonam Bajwa, Anya Singh, Pranav Vashisht and Medha Rana in pivotal roles. Border 2 is a sequel to the 1997 blockbuster Border. It is backed by T-Series and J P Films. While the 1997 film was based on the events of the Battle of Longewala during the 1971 India-Pakistan war, Border 2 is also set against the backdrop of the same conflict.
