Recent posts by users on Reddit (via Android Police) suggest that some Pixel 6 units have been affected by the Android 15 update, causing them to stop functioning. User u/GegoByte claims that they enabled the Private Space feature after updating their handset to Android 15, but the smartphone stopped working after unlocking and opening an app stored in the new secure area.
The user also says that Google’s technical instructions to reboot the phone weren’t working on their Pixel 6 unit. Another user responded to u/GegoByte’s post, stating that their phone stopped working while they were browsing Reddit, and that a technician was unable to repair the handset.
Similarly, Reddit user u/Homer_95 states that their Pixel 6 Pro stopped working while using the handset with the battery level around 45 percent. The user also claims that they were unable to turn on the handset using Google’s troubleshooting tools, and edited their post to state that was related to the Private Space feature. Another user responded to the post, revealing that they faced the same issue with their Pixel 6 Pro.
However, it’s currently unclear whether the Private Space feature is affecting Pixel 6 owners, as some owners who never used the feature after updating to Android 15 are also complaining that their smartphones stopped working. User u/WesternConfection435 says that their Pixel 6 was bricked after the screen displayed two “blue static bars” at the top of their screen. They also claim that they were unable to use the smartphone as the display would not turn on after the incident.
This isn’t the first update related issue to affect Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro owners — the Android 14 update that rolled out to Pixel phones last year left several models unusable due to a storage bug. Google eventually rolled out a software update to affected models, which also included some Pixel 6a, Pixel 7, Pixel 7 Pro, Pixel 7a, Pixel Tablet, Pixel Fold, Pixel 8, and Pixel 8 Pro units.
Apple has reportedly started work on a new MacBook Pro model that is powered by a fourth generation Apple Silicon processor. In the Q&A section of his Power On newsletter, Gurman responded to a user stating “[…] maybe I will snap up an M4 MacBook Pro, which by the way, just started formal development.”
Details of Apple’s M4 chip are scarce, but the processor is expected to be similar to the purported A18 Pro chip that is expected to power the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max. The company’s flagship iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max are equipped with a 3nm A17 Pro chip, while its latest iMac, MacBook Air, and MacBook Pro models are available with M3, M3 Pro, and M3 Max chips.
It’s worth noting that it could be a while before Apple launches its next MacBook Pro model — it is yet to release M3-powered versions of its desktop Mac computers, unlike the aforementioned models. The company is yet to share any details of the next-generation processor, and it could be launched after the arrival of macOS 15, or even in 2025.
Last year, benchmark scores for Apple’s top-of-the-line M3 Max chip revealed that performance was much higher than its predecessor (the M2 Max) and on par with the M2 Ultra chip that was launched in 2022. During its ‘Scary fast’ launch event in October 2023, Apple claimed that the flagship M3 Max chip offered “up to 50 percent” better performance than the M2 Max. The M4 chip series is also expected to offer improved AI performance — macOS 15 (alongside iOS 18) is expected to bring several new AI features when it is released later this year.

Two-Wheeler Segment Sales: The two-wheeler (2W) segment, particularly scooters, registered strong growth this year in the country, outpacing the motorcycles segment, according to a report by Motilal Oswal. The report highlighted that the scooter segment within internal combustion engine (ICE) two-wheelers posted 18.4 per cent year-on-year (YoY) growth year-to-date (YTD) in FY25. In comparison, the motorcycle segment recorded a lower, but still healthy, growth rate of approximately 13 per cent YoY during the same period.
“Within 2Ws, the ICE scooter segment has posted 18.4 per cent YoY growth YTD, the motorcycle segment has seen ~13 per cent YoY growth” said the report.
Overall, the report also noted that ICE two-wheeler segment continues to outperform, registering a solid 14.6 per cent YoY growth in YTDFY25. In contrast, the passenger vehicle (PV) segment recorded a muted 0.6 per cent YoY growth during the same period, highlighting the dominance of two-wheelers in the market.
It said “2W ICE segment continues to outperform, with 14.6 per cent YoY growth in YTDFY25, compared with muted 0.6 per cent YoY growth for PV segment”. The report highlighted divergent growth trends within the motorcycle segment. The 100cc motorcycle sub-segment underperformed, posting around 9 per cent YoY growth in FY25 so far. However, the 125cc segment stood out, delivering exceptional growth of approximately 20 per cent YoY.
Similarly, the 150-250cc segment demonstrated strong performance with about 17 per cent YoY growth on a YTD basis. The report data stated that the PV industry exhibited sluggish growth, expanding by just 0.9 per cent YoY in October 2024 and 0.6 per cent YoY in YTDFY25. However, within the PV segment, utility vehicles (UVs) continued to shine, with their contribution increasing to 64.8 per cent of the overall PV market.
While the two-wheeler segment has significantly outperformed passenger vehicles so far in FY25, the report cautioned that growth in the segment may moderate for the rest of the fiscal year.
Despite this, the strong performance of scooters and select motorcycle sub-segments highlights the ongoing demand and resilience of the two-wheeler market in India.

Microsoft said on Thursday it would pull the plug on Xbox 360’s online store and marketplace next year, as it focuses on its latest consoles and subscription service Game Pass.
Xbox 360 Store and Xbox 360 Marketplace will be shut on July 29, 2024, and gamers using the old console will not be able to purchase and download new games, according to a post on Xbox’s website.
Microsoft is, however, allowing users to play with their already purchased Xbox 360 games and older titles that are compatible with the console.
“A lot has changed since the Xbox 360 launched in 2005. Technology has evolved, expectations from players have shifted, and we are focused on making Xbox Series X|S the best place to play now and in the future,” Xbox said.
Microsoft stopped the production of Xbox 360 in 2016 and a year later launched Xbox Game Pass, a subscription gaming service that can be accessed on consoles and Windows platforms.
As part of its latest move, the Movies & TV app on the older console will also be removed.

Poco has shared a poster on the microblogging platform revealing the design and specifications of the new C series phone. The company has also disclosed the early bird pricing of the phone. In the recent past, Apple has reserved all of its touchscreen software interactions to its iPhones and iPads (iOS and iPadOS) while limiting its iMac and MacBook (macOS) software interactions to a mouse, keyboard and trackpad. While there have been many hardware mods designed to turn the iMac’s interface into a touchscreen one, these would be rather limited as the interface has not been designed keeping these touch interactions in mind. The closest an Apple MacBook ever came to a touchscreen implementation was in 2016, with the new Touch Bar feature introduced on its Pro laptop lineup, which was then replaced with regular function keys in 2023.
It was only with the recent macOS Ventura update in 2022 that macOS moved an inch closer to a touchscreen interface with an overhauled System Settings (previously System Preferences). It brought both iPadOS and MacOS on par in terms of design elements and also introduced a new mode called Stage Manager on MacOS (introduced a year prior with iPadOS 16), which helped organise opened apps better on both smaller (tablet) and larger (Mac) displays. Now, a freshly filed patent hints that Apple is working on adding a touchscreen on its iMac, a move that would complete the circle if launched in the near future.

One figure illustrates a low-profile iMac design which appears very similar to a flat screen TV with no base stand, while a few others aim to show a built-in carry handle, which slides and hides into the all-in-one system’s display when not in use. Another image also reveals a handle mounted to the rear pivot (which lets the display tilt upwards or downwards) of what appears to be a new-age iMac model.
More interesting, are the next batch of images illustrating the same iMac display without a base stand, but mounted on to a dock device which apart from providing a small storage shelf-like area can also doubles up as a wireless charging stand for iPad, iPhone, Apple Watch and more. This dock device can also lift the monitor or iMac by a couple of inches.
Accompanying images in this batch also reveal appears to be a recently launched iMac but with touchscreen display. However this display has two hinges (much like a Microsoft Surface Studio, which allows the display to tilt back and sit down on the desk at various angles, making it convenient for artists.
The patent, filed on March 7, reportedly added 20 new claims which focused on a device stand system, a pivot mechanism and a device mounting system. One of these also mentions a pivot system that will actually let the display pivot from left to right, which has been a long-standing limitation on iMac models.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III just got a gameplay reveal trailer — a slightly misleading title, given most of the footage is loaded with cinematics.
