Titled Dhurandhar The Revenge, the film is the sequel to the 2025 blockbuster Dhurandhar. The film, which has been directed by Aditya Dhar, was released worldwide on March 19. Apart from Ranveer, it also stars R Madhavan, Sanjay Dutt, Sara Arjun, Gaurav Gera, and Arjun Rampal. The Aditya Dhar-directed film opened with earnings of ₹75 crore gross in paid previews, and minted ₹165 crore on release day. Till now, the film has surged past the ₹1040 crore mark at the domestic box office and minted over ₹1600 globally.
About Spirit
On January 1, the makers of Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Spirit unveiled the first look poster of the highly anticipated film, starring Prabhas and Triptii Dimri. The poster showed Prabhas with long hair and a rugged beard paired with a moustache, standing shirtless with his back to the camera. His body is marked with bruises and wrapped in multiple bandages across his shoulder, arm, and back. He is wearing loose white trousers, holding a cigarette between his lips and a glass in one hand. By his side Triptii, dressed in a simple saree, is seen lighting his cigarette.
The film also stars Vivek Oberoi, and Kanchana. It is believed that Prabhas will essay the role of a cop while Triptii will play his love interest in the film. Earlier this month, the producer of the film, T-series revealed that the film will be released on March 5, 2027.
The Centre assured that LPG supply across the country is normal, despite rising tensions in the Middle East, with shipments sailing through the Strait of Hormuz without any disruption. Dismissing fears of any shortage in the nation, petroleum and natural gas secretary Neeraj Mittal, on Thursday, said that domestic availability remains stable. “I don’t see any problem anywhere. All domestic supplies are at 100 per cent,” he stated, adding that around 70 per cent of packed LPG has already been released into the system.While acknowledging the possibility of minor, localised supply bottlenecks, Mittal said such issues are routine and managed on a day-to-day basis.He also addressed concerns over maritime movement in the region, noting that vessel traffic has not faced delays. “Ships have been continuously coming even when there was a blockage. It takes its normal travel time. We are not talking about any delay in crossing the Strait,” he said.According to Mittal, the government is closely tracking developments and remains prepared to act if needed. “The government is reviewing this on a daily basis. If any change has to be made, it will be done,” he said.Speaking at a conference on energy security and India’s growing gas demand, Mittal further emphasised the need for preparedness in light of recent global developments. He highlighted that nearly 90% of India’s crude oil imports pass through the Strait of Hormuz, underlining its strategic importance.He further noted that India sources crude oil from 41 countries, natural gas from 30 countries, and LPG from 13 countries, stressing that such diversification plays a key role in shaping future energy policies.“The government is committed to ensuring that gas is available to all entities, and we are also focusing on diversification so that such crises do not impact supplies,” he said. Meanwhile, Green Asha, a fuel carrier with over 15,400 tonnes of LPG, also arrived in the country on Thursday after crossing Strait of Hormuz earlier this week.The conference, organised by the petroleum and natural Gas regulatory board (PNGRB) in partnership with Indraprastha Gas Limited (IGL), brought together stakeholders to discuss the expanding role of natural gas in the country’s energy mix.Discussions at the two-day event focused on infrastructure investment, regulatory support, and addressing sectoral challenges, while also encouraging innovation as India works to strengthen its energy security in the face of global uncertainties.

Desire Doue and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia scored the goals to give a dominant Paris Saint-Germain a 2-0 win over Liverpool in their Champions League quarter-final first leg on Wednesday, as the holders seized a clear advantage to take to Anfield for next week`s return. Doue`s shot in the 11th minute looped over goalkeeper Giorgi Mamardashvili and in thanks to a big touch off Ryan Gravenberch, and Kvaratskhelia then rounded his compatriot to double PSG`s lead 65 minutes into a game they bossed from start to finish. It only remains to be seen whether the reigning European champions — who had a second-half penalty in their favour overturned after a VAR review — might regret not scoring more goals against a Liverpool side who lined up with three centre-backs and were run ragged.
“I think we had chances to score more. There were many moments where we should score but it is OK,” Kvaratskhelia told broadcaster Canal Plus. “I think 2-0 is good but we have to stay focused because we have to play at Anfield. We know that the atmosphere will be amazing so we are already starting to prepare that game.” Liverpool`s game plan could not stop them slumping to a second emphatic loss in five days, even if the scoreline was not as bad as the 4-0 mauling inflicted by Manchester City in the FA Cup last weekend. It is just one win in six in all competitions for Liverpool, and this was a 16th reverse in total in a difficult campaign.
“We were in survival mode for large parts of the game, and maybe also we are in survival mode at this period of the season,” said coach Arne Slot. “It is really, really hard against this team — PSG was the better team, but we didn`t give up and that is why we still have a chance in this tie.” Slot`s team must try to repeat what they did in the last 16, when they overturned a 1-0 first-leg loss away to Galatasaray by winning 4-0 in the return.
This will be a far tougher task, however, as the sides clash again next Tuesday on Merseyside, where PSG won 1-0 in the second leg of their last-16 tie last season before advancing on penalties. That was a big step on their way to winning the Champions League, and came after they somehow lost 1-0 at the Parc des Princes despite completely dominating. A string of Alisson Becker saves helped Liverpool smash and grab their way to victory a year ago, but the Brazilian was absent here meaning Mamardashvili started in goal.

Mohamed Salah was also left out of the line-up by Slot, instead taking a place on the bench alongside Alexander Isak with the Swede involved again after suffering a leg fracture in December. Hugo Ekitike started up front for Liverpool against the club where he spent 18 months earlier in his career and failed to escape the shadows of Kylian Mbappe, Lionel Messi and Neymar. Joe Gomez slotted in alongside Ibrahima Konate and Virgil van Dijk as a third central defender, as Liverpool set out to press high but spent the night chasing the ball.
PSG were well in control before they scored, as Doue collected the ball just outside the box, advanced into the area and tried a shot which struck Gravenberch`s boot and took a looping trajectory which left the goalkeeper flummoxed. Mamardashvili did later save from Kvaratskhelia and Doue meaning there was just one goal in a one-sided first half in which PSG had 70 percent possession and Liverpool`s only attempt came from Jeremie Frimpong when he was offside. The pattern of the contest did not really change after the break, with Ousmane Dembele blazing over before the second goal arrived.
A superb Joao Neves pass released Kvaratskhelia through the inside-left channel, and the Georgian held off Gravenberch before rounding the goalkeeper to tuck in. Liverpool were then rescued by the Spanish referee`s decision to change his mind after initially awarding a penalty when Konate brought down Warren Zaire-Emery, while also taking the ball. Small mercies for Slot, who sent on Isak in a quadruple substitution on 78 minutes, but left Salah on the bench. Dembele hit the post late on for PSG, although they are firmly in control after a ninth win in a game against Premier League opposition since the start of 2025.

Rashid Khan has opened up on the technical and mental adjustments that helped him rediscover his rhythm after a prolonged struggle following surgery.
The Gujarat Titans spinner admitted that he had overcomplicated his bowling in the aftermath of his injury, focusing too much on mechanics rather than trusting his natural strengths.
“I was trying too many things, thinking about my action and landing,” Rashid said on JioStar. “I realised my strength has always been my line and length. I had drifted from that slightly, and getting back to it made the difference.”
Rashid explained that even a minor adjustment in his length played a key role in his resurgence. He identified that he had been bowling closer to six metres instead of his ideal five-and-a-half, a small shift that had a significant impact on effectiveness.
By simplifying his approach and focusing on consistency, the leg-spinner has begun to show glimpses of his best form again, particularly on surfaces that reward disciplined bowling.

That improvement was evident in Gujarat Titans’ recent win over Delhi Capitals, where Rashid played a decisive role. He finished with figures of 3 for 17, striking at crucial moments to derail Delhi’s chase.
Rashid removed Nitish Rana early in his spell before dismissing the in-form Sameer Rizvi and later the Delhi skipper Axar Patel. His intervention in the middle overs shifted momentum back in Gujarat’s favour just as the game seemed to be slipping away.
Despite a late surge from David Miller, Gujarat Titans held their nerve to secure their first win of the season in a last-ball thriller.
Former England cricketer Kevin Pietersen praised Rashid’s performance, noting that the spinner appeared closer to his best even if the team as a whole still has room for improvement.

While there were flashes of brilliance, including a standout Test performance against Zimbabwe, consistency remained elusive. The recent outing, therefore, marks an encouraging step in his comeback.

Sanjay Dutt was a pivotal part of both instalments of Dhurandhar. He played the role of SP Chaudhary Aslam in the Ranveer Singh-starrer spy drama. His character was based on real-life Pakistani police officer Chaudhry Aslam.

During a podcast with AajTak Radio, Aslam’s wife Naureen noted that Sanjay Dutt was perfect for the role of her husband. While praising his performance, she said, “When he stands near the car and raises his eyes, for a moment it felt like Aslam himself.” She also revealed that her husband used to say that a film would be made about his life after his death.
However, Naureen also expressed that the film did not do full justice to his life or the depth of his character. She added, “If they were making a film, they could have at least consulted me, the police, or journalists to understand both his positive and negative sides. He fulfilled tasks that the rest of the police never could.”
She mentioned that she had only watched portions of the film through clips. She even joked about the character’s use of foul language, saying that although it may not be appropriate for a family audience, such language is fairly common in police circles and suited the role well.
There’s an irony underlying this situation. An artificial intelligence (AI) model that Anthropic was working on was ‘leaked’ a few days ago. Codenamed Mythos, and capabilities claimed to be “substantially beyond those of any model we have previously trained, this model was discovered after descriptions of the model were found in publicly accessible data following an ‘error’ in the AI company’s content management system. Now, Anthropic says Claude Mythos is so powerful, they’ll not make this model generally available. Instead, it provides the foundation for something called Project Glasswing, to secure every other software.

Where have you heard this before? In 2019, Dario Amodei who is now the CEO and co-founder of Anthropic was still at OpenAI as Vice President of Research. In February 2019, OpenAI had said that its text-generation GPT-2 algorithm was too dangerous for public release. Has the marketing playbook been carried forward with the passage of time? now, this model is the basis for an industry consortium, called Project Glasswing, with an intention to deploy this for cybersecurity
“Instead, we are using it as part of a defensive cybersecurity program with a limited set of partners,” the company details, in the system card for the Claude Mythos Preview released this week. The partners include Apple, Google, Microsoft, Amazon Web Services, Nvidia and Cisco. Anthropic insists the model’s “striking leap in scores on many evaluation benchmarks” is the reason for the advantage over Claude Opus 4.6 across agentic coding, reasoning and computer use benchmarks.
The GPT-2 resemblance seems difficult to ignore. Back then, the rhetoric was more about AI responsibility and restraint. Eventually, GPT-2 was released (small model in Feb 2019, the medium model in May and the larger models in August and November) , relegating the ‘too dangerous to share’ pitch more to the AI marketing folklore, than a pure safety debate. The Project Glasswing revives those memories, as a model that’s claimed to be exceptionally capable and therefore very risky, with a need for controlled usage.
“As part of Project Glasswing, the launch partners listed above will use Mythos Preview as part of their defensive security work; Anthropic will share what we learn so the whole industry can benefit. We have also extended access to a group of over 40 additional organisations that build or maintain critical software infrastructure so they can use the model to scan and secure both first-party and open-source systems,” the company says in a statement.

Important to note the commercial architecture that’s being created here, with Claude Mythos still very much a product in Anthropic’s scheme of things—scarcity, capabilities, and therefore premium pricing strategies will be at work.
They are bullish about their claims, saying the model found a 27-year-old vulnerability in OpenBSD operating system and a 16-year-old vulnerability in FFmpeg software used to encode and decode video. They also say that the Mythos Preview has already found thousands of high-severity vulnerabilities—including some in every major operating system and web browser.
The partners insist this will be one part of their overall cybersecurity efforts.
“We will take a rigorous, independent approach to determining how to proceed and where we can help,” says Pat Opet, Chief Information Security Officer at JPMorganChase. Heather Adkins, VP of Security Engineering at Google, says they’ll make the Mythos Preview available via the Vertex AI platform and “will continue investing in our leading cybersecurity platform and a culture focused on protecting users.”
Amy Herzog, Amazon Web Services’ Vice President of CSIO, notes that their teams analyse over 400 trillion network flows every day for threats, and AI is crucial for identifying and defending at scale. They’ve applied Claude Mythos Preview to these security operations, and it has helped strengthen the code in critical instances.
The unwritten caveat must be noticed. None of the Project Glasswing partners are fully handing over their cybersecurity apparatus or architecture to the new model. This will be an additional layer, not the entirety. This lends the necessary perspective. Claude Mythos’ claimed scores and capabilities are impressive, but it is unlikely that one AI model will fundamentally restructure the approach to cybersecurity across industries.
Anthropic’s positioning with Claude Mythos for Project Glasswing is two-pronged—for cybersecurity applications including finding vulnerabilities in software, and secondly, for zero-day vulnerabilities that were previously not discovered or known to exist.
The AI company’s Frontier Red Team, a specialised technical group that tests AI models for capabilities and any possible harmful indicators in autonomous or specific behaviour, notes that while the Opus 4.6 model mostly had a near 0% success rate at autonomous exploit development, the Mythos Preview does significantly better.
“For example, Opus 4.6 turned the vulnerabilities it had found in Mozilla’s Firefox 147 JavaScript engine—all patched in Firefox 148—into JavaScript shell exploits only two times out of several hundred attempts. We re-ran this experiment as a benchmark for Mythos Preview, which developed working exploits 181 times, and achieved register control on 29 more,” they note, regarding cybersecurity capabilities.
Anthropic wants the industry to believe that Claude Mythos is better than anything before it, and that may well be the case. Alongside, selective deployment via a consortium lends credence to the projection of responsibility. But more than anything else, in its entirety, this seems to be an extraordinarily effective narrative starting with the purported leak.
