Shah Rukh Khan recalls saving THIS director from getting beaten up in Goa

In a throwback moment from Yaaron Ki Baarat with Ritiesh Deshmukh and Sajid Khan, Shah Rukh Khan fondly remembered working with Kundan Shah, crediting him as one of the most influential figures in his early career. He spoke about how the director’s grounded storytelling and unique sense of humour shaped his understanding of acting, especially during their time on Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa. Shah Rukh had shared how Kundan Shah would get angry if the shot wasn’t done correctly. He would scold the actor irrespective of him or her being a veteran.

Shah Rukh Khan recalls an intense anecdote

Shah Rukh also shared anecdote about their shoot, he said, “I had once done 42 retakes, and instead of encouraging me, he was extremely agitated. He even ended up telling me ‘patthar se acting kara loon, tujhse behtar’. He was emotional and passionate about the shoot. He would be all intense on the shoot.” Both Shah Rukh and Tiku Talsania had recalled the petrol pump incident where the director scolded the pump employee for ruining the shot and getting beaten up.
