Three-tier security arrangements have been made outside the counting centers.

The Election Commission has deployed a three-tier security system at the counting centers to ensure the smooth process of counting of votes. The ECI official had said that overall, 10,545 personnel have been deployed for counting duties, supported by 4,624 micro-observers to maintain transparency and integrity in the entire process.

A 100-metre perimeter around each counting center forms the first security layer, restricting entry to only authorized personnel.

The second layer at the entry points will be managed by state armed police to control access and prevent unauthorized movement. Mobile phones will be allowed only in designated areas.

The third and innermost layer, which covers the counting halls and EVM strong rooms, will be secured by the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs), with strict search rules.

The count includes votes from all 75,064 polling stations across the state and postal ballots received. The Election Commission has set up 62 designated counting centers for the exercise.

Tamil Nadu Election Results Live: Multiple exit poll agencies have suggested a lead for the ruling DMK alliance, with People Pulse estimating 125-145 seats for the DMK-led bloc and 65-80 seats for the AIADMK-led alliance, while 2-6 seats for the TVK.

Matriz projected 122–132 seats for the DMK and allies, 80–100 seats for the AIADMK-led alliance and 0-6 seats for the TVK.

P-MARQ projected 125–145 seats for the DMK-led alliance, 60–70 seats for the AIADMK-led alliance, and 1-6 seats for the TVK. Tamil Nadu Election Results LIVE: At what time will counting of votes start?

Tamil Nadu Election Results Live: As per the Election Commission of India schedule, counting of votes for all 234 constituencies is scheduled to begin at 8:00 am on Monday.

The process will begin at 8 am with the counting of postal ballots, which will be the first phase of result tabulation. After this, EVM votes will be counted at all the designated counting centers from 8:30 am.

A total of 75,064 polling stations have contributed to the polling process and the counting of votes will be done at 62 counting centers across the state.
