West Bengal CM’s announcement LIVE: Rahul Gandhi’s ‘infiltrator’ jibe at BJP
West Bengal Chief Minister’s announcement LIVE: Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi claimed that many BJP MPs had won through ‘vote theft’ and termed them as ‘infiltrators’.
This comes amid his support for Mamata Banerjee.
“Sometimes seats are stolen through vote theft, sometimes entire governments. Of the 240 BJP MPs in the Lok Sabha, almost every sixth MP has won through vote theft. It is not difficult to identify them – should we call them “infiltrators” in the BJP’s own language?” Gandhi wrote on X.
“And Haryana? The entire government there is an “infiltrator”. The institutions which they keep in their pockets, which tamper with the voter lists and the electoral process – they themselves are “remote controlled”. Their real fear is the truth. Because if there had been fair elections, even today they would not have been able to win 140 seats.’
