IPL 2026, Praful Hinge manifestation story: How SRH debutant predicted 4 wickets in SRH vs RR clash

The art of manifestation is considered to be beautiful by many and Praful Hinge is one of them. Having played just one T20 before his IPL debut for Sunrisers Hyderabad against the Rajasthan Royals, not a lot was heard or said about the pacer. But on Monday, April 13, he proved why good things can come through manifestation.

IPL 2026, SRH vs RR: HIGHLIGHTS | SCORECARD

The 24-year-old bowled a sensational spell of four for 34 in his four overs as he broke the back of the RR chase at the Uppal. The Vidarbha pacer dismissed Vaibhav Sooryavanshi off his second ball he bowled and went on to dismiss Dhruv Jurel and Lhuan-dre Pretorious in the same over to create history.

He came back again and dismissed RR skipper Riyan Parag to leave RR reeling at 9 for five in three overs and effectively seal the win for his side. But the entire game changed with the wicket of Sooryavanshi and the confident pacer said he had planned it well ahead of the match.

Hinge said that it was his plan to dismiss the in-form batter with a bouncer and told a few people beforehand about it.

“The best one was the first wicket — Sooryavanshi’s — because he is in form. I had told 2–3 people beforehand that I would get him out on the first ball, either with a bouncer or somehow.”

“I just wanted his wicket on the first ball. That was the plan. Our bowling coach, Varun bhaiya, helped me a lot, and thanks to everyone who supported me,” said Hinge.

THE MANIFESTING KID

Hinge has built a solid reputation in domestic cricket, taking 27 wickets in 10 first-class matches at an average of 26.7, underlining his discipline as a seamer.

But his journey started with tennis ball cricket and how his constant persuasion convinced his dad to pursue cricket.

“I started playing cricket when I was around 8 years old. I didn’t even know what leather-ball cricket was. When I was 13, I told my father that I just wanted to join a club. He refused 2–3 times, saying I was too young. But then he eventually took me, and I just kept playing. Now that I’m at this stage, it feels really good.”

“I want to dedicate this award to my family. The sacrifices they’ve made for me — I am so happy,” said Hinge.

But the biggest power of Hinge seems to be the way he manifested about great things in life, including his debut. The pacer revealed that he wrote down about his IPL debut and that he would pick up four or five wickets in his first match.

“I manifested this last year. If I made a debut I wanted to take 4-5 wickets and wanted to dominate the powerplay. I believe in manifesting,” said Hinge.

SRH have now found themselves with a new weapon in their arsenal in the form of Hinge and they will face CSK in their next home game on April 18.
