YouTuber Yung Filly is facing new charges of reckless driving, according to reports in Australia, where he is accused of raping a woman.
The 29-year-old, whose real name is Andrés Felipe Valencia Barrientos, is accused by police of driving past a speed camera at 158km/h (98mph) on a Perth highway last month.
It is alleged to have occurred whilst Barrientos was on bail over an alleged attack on a woman in a Perth hotel in September.
The BBC has contacted Barrientos’s representatives and the police for comment.
Police say the speeding incident happened on 17 November, in the High Wycombe area of Perth, where the speed limit is 100km/h, and his car was impounded.
Barrientos will appear in court accused of reckless driving on 19 November, where he will also appear over four counts of sexual penetration without consent, three counts of assault occasioning bodily harm, and one count of impeding a person’s normal breathing or circulation by applying pressure on or to their neck.
It is alleged Barrientos brought a woman in her 20s back to his hotel room after he had performed at the nightclub Bar1 in Perth. The rapper was on tour in Australia performing his music.
Barrientos is best known for his work with the YouTube collective Beta Squad and has presented shows on BBC Three.
He has also appeared, in the UK, on ITV’s Soccer Aid and Channel 4’s Great Celebrity Bake Off for Stand Up To Cancer.
Barrientos won a Mobo Award for best media personality in 2021.

The company is reportedly working on an update for its Phone Link app, trying to make the transfer of files between the Windows PC and the iPhone easier.
According to a blog post shared by Microsoft, the feature has been made available for those who are a part of the Windows Insiders program.
The app already has features like phone notifications on PC and answering calls directly on PC. The new feature of file sharing for iPhone users will be a big enhancement to the app’s capabilities.
File sharing between Windows and iPhone
There are a few things that a user must keep in mind before using the new feature. First of all, it is still in the testing phase and is only available for Windows Insiders users. Also, the iPhone in question must be running on iOS 16 or higher versions of the operating system.
A user who falls in all those categories needs to install the Link to Windows app on the iPhone. The app version should be version 1.24112.73 or higher. Also, the PC must have the Phone Link app updated to version 1.24112.89.0 or later.
When all that is done, the Link to Windows will appear as an option for sharing files on the iPhone, letting the user send photos, documents and other files directly to the PC.
The feature will soon be rolled out for regular users in the coming months after the testing and debugging phase of the product is done.
It will be interesting to see how Microsoft works around the limitations of the Apple ecosystem that has caused problems for the company’s Phone Link app in the past.

NEW DELHI/MOSCOW: Russia’s state oil firm Rosneft has agreed to supply nearly 500,000 barrels per day (bpd) of crude to Indian private refiner Reliance in the biggest ever energy deal between the two countries, three sources familiar with the deal said. The 10-year agreement amounts to 0.5% of global supply and is worth roughly $13 billion a year at today’s prices. It would further cement energy relations between India and Russia, which is under heavy Western sanctions over its invasion of Ukraine. Rosneft did not reply to requests for comments. Reliance said it works with international suppliers, including from Russia, and deals are based on market conditions. The company declined further comment on commercial matters, citing the confidentiality of supply agreements. The deal comes ahead of the planned visit by Russian President Vladimir Putin to India and after U.S. President-elect Donald Trump said he wants to push Moscow and Kyiv to stop the war as soon as he takes office in January. Russian oil accounts for more than a third of India’s energy imports. South Korean President Yoon Suk-yeol has pledged to “fight to the end” after opposition parties submitted a new joint motion to impeach him over a botched martial law bid last week.
The National Assembly said the main liberal opposition Democratic Party and five smaller opposition parties submitted the impeachment motion on Thursday afternoon.
The impeachment vote will take place on Saturday at about 5pm (08:00 GMT), the parties said. The motion needs to win support from eight members of the ruling People Power Party (PPP) to secure the necessary two-thirds majority.
PPP leader Han Dong-hoon urged party members to attend the meeting and vote “according to their conviction and conscience”.
The move comes after authorities dispatched police to the presidential office compound to “obtain documents and materials”, according to the local Yonhap news agency. A similar attempt was blocked on Wednesday by security guards.
Yoon denies rebellion charges

New Delhi: The number of tax refunds has recorded a 46.31 per cent jump to Rs 3.08 lakh crore between April 1 and November 27 this year compared to the same period of 2023, marking a significant increase in the efficiency of the Income Tax Department, according to figures released by the Union Finance Ministry on Thursday.
In the corresponding period last year between April 1, 2023, and November 30, 2023, refunds totalling Rs 2.03 lakh crore were issued, reflecting the Ministry’s concerted efforts to expedite the process this year. The Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT) played a crucial role in achieving this milestone, the statement added.
In its year-end review, the Finance Ministry also said that within just a week of processing, an impressive 26.35 per cent of IITRs for FY 2024-25 were cleared — a significant improvement compared to the 22.56 per cent achieved during FY 2023-24.

As far as the challenge of migration flow into cities is concerned, the bigger puzzle is that the government should make efforts to maintain an average vehicle speed of 60-80 kmph by setting aside slow speeds on our inter-city roads . -Driving traffic at high speed.
A general approach to our road building program might suggest that this could be done by converting existing highways emanating from major cities into expressways. Today, most of these highways are, at least, double lanes in both directions. Also, since expressways have legally enforced minimum speed limits below which vehicles cannot drive, slower-moving traffic requires a complementary, connecting network of country roads. Bridging the gaps in the existing country’s road network is not too time-consuming or expensive. This approach is not unique, as is evident in the long-standing European Commission funding program for its new member states to build dual-carriage expressways.
Extensions of this approach include the creation of such infrastructure where, for various reasons, urban clusters are developing through increased migration flows from surrounding rural areas and sub-urban areas. Replacing the highways policy for such clusters by the development of a network of expressways with complementary country roads would lead to better economic integration of regional cities with the surrounding agricultural countryside. Through this process these integrated regional groups can be scaled up to the national level.
The results will be similar to those seen in other countries, especially developed countries, which have built a network of expressways and country roads. Nevertheless, quick and relatively cheap construction of such infrastructure would immediately improve the quality of governance in cities and provide easy and widespread access to surrounding towns and villages to the outlying areas.
