Today`s `Weekend Ka Vaar` showcased Salman Khan in his OG avatar. Bhaijaan, with his no-nonsense attitude, grilled Digvijay Rathee and Avinash Mishra for their holier-than-thou demeanor. Salman decided to give them a reality check in the most unique style.

During the “Time God” task, Avinash and Digvijay got into a heated fight, threatening each other with lines like “I’ll rip you apart.” To teach them a lesson, Salman asked Karan Veer Mehra to bring a pair of jeans and instructed Avinash and Digvijay to try tearing them apart.

When they couldn’t, Salman quipped, `“Yeh jeans hai, yeh fatti hai, par aapse fat nahi rahi. Aur aap aadmi faadne ki baat kar rahe hain beech se. Kitne aadmi aapne baahar faade hain, Digvijay?` (This is a pair of jeans, it’s already torn but you can’t even rip it. And you talk about ripping people apart. How many people have you actually ripped apart, Digvijay?).”  

Addressing Avinash, Salman remarked, `“Yeh kaunse show mein aaye ho aap? Karate Combat mein aaye ho? Kaunse format mein aaye ho?` (Which show do you think you’ve entered? Karate Combat? What format do you think this is?).” 

Salman didn’t stop there. He jokingly requested Digvijay to find a new “topic” to continue his enmity with Avinash because the old topics were becoming stale.  

If you thought Avinash and Digvijay were the only ones on Salman`s radar, you’d be mistaken. Kashish Kapoor was also grilled for appearing fake. Salman exposed the two ex-`Splitsvilla` contestants by showing a clip that revealed their so-called rivalry was exaggerated for the cameras. 

Dolly Chaiwala in Bigg Boss house

This drama-packed `Weekend Ka Vaar` kept the audience hooked. Adding to the spice, social media sensation Dolly Chaiwala entered the house and made tea for the housemates. Later, the cast of `The Sabarmati Report`, Vikrant Massey and Raashii Khanna, joined to promote their film. They engaged the nominated contestants in a `parda faash` (expose) task, which led to a heated argument between Rajat Dalal and Shilpa Shirodkar.

Rytasha Rathore shares her experience of working on ‘Waack Girls’

Rytasha Rathore, who plays the manager of the dance group ‘Waack Girls’, shared, “From the moment I went in for that very first audition at Tess Joseph’s and met Sooni. I knew I must be a part of this show. I had never had the privilege of auditioning with the director in the room; the whole energy of the show was special from the get-go. Sooni is a living legend. Working with a team as fantastic as this one is a testament that manifestation does work! I’ve spent days journaling about the kind of work I want to do and the kind of people I want to do it with. `Waack Girls` is an extension of that, a gift from the universe, a true collaboration made with the purest souls. I’m looking forward to finally sharing this piece of our hearts with the audience on Prime Video.”

Dwayne Johnson talked about his latest Christmas action-adventure film `Red One` and shared his views that it should be released on Imax screens like Christopher Nolan`s `Oppenheimer`, reported Deadline.

`Oppenheimer` is a 2023 epic biographical thriller film written, directed, and produced by Christopher Nolan.

He said that he watched Nolan`s directorial film in the same Imax screening room the director uses to screen his films and after watching it he felt that `Red One` would be a “game changer” if screened the same way.

“With Red One, our intention was to make a movie that you can enjoy on the biggest screen possible,” said Johnson. “Legitimately, the biggest screens possible are Imax. I was midway through shooting `Red One` and I had an opportunity to see `Oppenheimer`. I watched in the Imax theater where Christopher Nolan watches and screens his movies. Him and Emma [Thomas], his wife. I even asked to let me sit where Chris sits. They said, `Chris sits here.`”

He continued, “I watch `Oppenheimer`. It was amazing, but I was thinking: `Holy shit. `Red One` on this screen and with this technology could be game over.` I remember texting director Jake Kasdan a picture of my bare chest and a picture of the screen and we realized how cool it would be.”

`Red One` is a film directed by Jake Kasdan. The film follows Johnson`s Callum Drift, the head of North Pole security, as he teams up with a bounty hunter to find a kidnapped Santa Claus. Johnson`s co-stars include Chris Evans, JK Simmons, Lucy Liu, Kiernan Shipka, Bonnie Hunt, Nick Kroll, Kristofer Hivku, and Wesley Kimmel, reported Deadline.

Bollywood star Ajay Devgn on Monday took a stroll down memory lane and recalled working in `Drishyam 2`.

Taking to Instagram, he posted a throwback picture from the film, teasing he`s `going for a little gardening` to mark the occasion.

Helmed by Abhishek Pathak `Drishyam 2`, released in 2022, did a business of approximately INR 230+ crores at the box office. The film also starred Shriya Saran in the lead roles.

`Drishyam 2`, headlined by Ajay, was a remake of 2021`s Malayalam movie of the same name, starring Mohanlal as the lead. While `Drishyam`, released in 2015, was the remake of 2013`s Malayalam movie. It was helmed by National-Award-winning director Nishikant Kamat, who died in 2020 at the age of 50.

Meanwhile, Ajay is basking in the success of `Singham Again`, which is directed by Rohit Shetty.

In the film, he reprised the role of police officer Bajirao Singham whom he first essayed in the first part in 2011 and then again in 2014 in the second instalment of the `Singham` franchise.

As `Singham Again 3` is performing exceptionally well at the box office, Ajay in a candid conversation expressed gratitude to the audience and also talked about how the `Singham` franchise changed the narrative around police portrayals in Bollywood films.

“I am thankful to the audience for giving us so much love. For a long time, the police were always shown in a negative light in films. Singham as well as Gangaajal was one of the first films that showed how an ideal police officer should be. After that, it became a trend of making positive films about police,” Ajay emphasized.

Singham Again also stars Kareena Kapoor Khan, Akshay Kumar, Tiger Shroff, Ranveer Singh, and Deepika Padukone, among others. It was released in theatres on Diwali, facing a clash with Kartik Aaryan-starrer `Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3`.
