Tina Dutta had her own share of ups and downs during her time in `Bigg Boss 16`. The actress made several headlines for her growing friendship with Shalin Bhanot, which ended on the show itself. Now, almost two years after facing everything, Tina Dutta, in an interview with us at Mid-day.com, opened up about how the show takes a toll on your mental health, both physically and emotionally. Tina Dutta’s mom regrets sending her to Bigg Boss 16

Tina Dutta`s mother shared with us that her daughter never wanted to enter `Bigg Boss`, but it was her family who convinced her to take up the challenge. Now, after Tina has survived and been through a hard time, her mother regrets the decision of convincing her to do the show. In conversation with us, her mom shared in Hindi, “Actually, she (Tina) never wanted to go to Bigg Boss. For many years, they called her, and I even had meetings with them, but she always said she would never go to Bigg Boss. However, this time, because of conversations between me and my husband, we convinced her to go. But later, we realized that we shouldn`t have sent her.”

Adding to her mother`s thoughts, Tina shared that the Salman Khan-hosted show is honestly quite difficult. The `Uttaran` star while talking about Bigg Boss added, “Your personal life, your mental status, your health—everything goes for a toss mentally, emotionally, and physically.”

Tina Dutta gets nostalgic

In the same interview with us, Tina got nostalgic and talked about her early days and managing her studies with her work. That was when her mom shared that Tina didn’t want to act as a kid and used to cry about it. Tina revealed that as a child, she had to work really hard and didn’t like it at the time.

Rajamouli with Ram Gopal Varma, and many more over eight extremely entertaining episodes. 

Rana Daggubati`s upcoming talk show to premiere on November 23

Prime Video shared a trailer for the upcoming talk show. The riveting trailer is a glimpse into `The Rana Daggubati Show` that breaks the mould of conventional chat shows and gives the audience a tantalizing peek into the lives of their favorite stars. Rana Daggubati says this is not your ordinary talk show

Ace filmmaker Zack Snyder has come on board to direct a new feature film for Netflix, centered around the Los Angeles Police Department.

As per Variety, Zack has penned the script for the project with his frequent collaborator Kurt Johnstad.

The yet-to-be-titled film is in early development at the streamer. It is being produced by Deborah Snyder, Zack Snyder, and Wesley Coller for Stone Quarry.

Excited about the project, Zack said, “Years ago, Dan Lin and I had a conversation about our shared interest in telling a compelling and visceral character-driven story set within the intense, complex and captivating landscape of the LAPD.”

He added, “It`s a conversation that has stuck with me. So, as you would expect, I`m very excited to now have the opportunity to partner with Dan, along with the rest of my amazing partners at Netflix, in developing this story.”

This marks the latest feature to fall under the creative partnership between Stone Quarry and Netflix, after the recent duology of “Rebel Moon – Part One: A Child of Fire” and “Rebel Moon – Part Two: The Scargiver.” Stone Quarry also produced Snyder`s “Army of the Dead” and its spinoff “Army of Thieves” for Netflix. The animated series “Twilight of the Gods” was released in September 2024.

On the occasion of International Men`s Day 2024, Karan Johar took to Instagram to share a note celebrating men. The filmmaker shared a song clip from his last release `Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahani` titled `Dhindora Baje Re`. The song opens with Ranveer Singh performing a Kathak routine with actor Tata Roy Chowdhury. Sharing the bit, he wrote, “hunar ka koi gender nahi hota”. This is a line from the film as well when Alia Bhatt`s father gets mocked for performing classical dance at a wedding in Delhi. 

Sharing the clip, Karan further wrote, “Today is dedicated to the real MVPs of our society – the men. But not just any (and definitely not EVERY) man…today is for the men who champion feminism.”

He rooted for the upliftment of men who are unafraid of not holding back and expressing their emotions. “The ones who uplift humanity by advocating equity, equality & a more compassionate society for women & for everyone who just dare to be their true self. So that can be on the stage dancing your heart to Dola Re channelling your inner Madhuri & Aishwarya or it could be on the field expressing your emotions and gratitude after hitting the ball out of the park with your bat. It could be anything. It could be everything. It could be the very step that makes our society the place that many will thrive to be the next MVPs. So do it. Karan Johar`s work front

The filmmaker last directed the film `Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahani` starring Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt. His last film as a producer `Jigra` starring Alia Bhatt did not fare well at the box office. The film directed by Vasan Balan also starred Vedang Raina and narrated the tale of a sister-brother bond. 

The filmmaker recently announced the film `Chand Mera Dil` starring Ananya Panday and Lakshya. He will be backing the romantic drama. Both Ananya and Lakshya had hits with Dharma Productions this year in Call Me Bae and Kill respectively.
